Hi
Newbie vapor here just got an EVOD starter kit. I'm a HEAVY smoker aswell. (3packs a day) I was hoping I could get off the analogs all together but I'll settle for cutting down.

Anyway, I have been vaping this thing all day and filled the tank 3 times. I started with a 20ml bottle of some peach stuff and its half gone already. This stuff tastes like crap too but probably because i bought it off some random E-Bayer.

I only smoked one pack of cigs today so I guess I can count that as a win? :?: Am I hitting it too hard ? Is it too much vaping ?

Thanks in advance

I'm on day 2 of being cigarette free. I know it's too early to call it a success, but I thought I'd chime in since I'm seem to be right where you are in the process. I've smoked a pack a day of Marlboro lights for 18 years. 2-3ml of 18mg juice does the trick for me. As I said, I'm on day two and I have had absolutely no desire to have a cigarette. It's been completely effortless. Do you know the nicotine content of your juice? I'm no expect but I would suspect that that it's too low for you and that is your problem.

There is no such thing as too much vaping! I typically go through 5ml of juice a day between my Dripping atomizer, a cartomizer, and my Evod or iClear 16. I personally vaped about the same every day at 36mg/ml of nicotine, and I have cut down to 18ml in the last month :toast: You're good health wise but you might burn a pretty fat hole in your pocket between juice and coils!

I found 50ml x 36mg juice at $13.99. Coils at $1.39. I go the higher nicotine, but I find that 2ish hits. Being at 3 weeks, I hope to lower as time goes on. I just want to get away from cigarettes first.

I think it really depends on nicotine level and flavors. I started off with 32mg of nicotine and chain vaped for 5 hours until I felt I wanna vomit. After I decreased to 24mg, I could handle it for another 2 hours til I felt nausea. I'm at 6mg right now and I can pretty much smoke all day long without getting tired or feeling any headaches. i have been sober on smoking cigarettes for over 4 months now and I feel great! no more caughing and body feels very normal. I guess you can vape as long as your body can handle it.

Vape until you're satisfied or you start to feel crappy (we all get nic sick from time to time). The limit is different for everyone.

And the motto around here is, every cigarette not smoked is a win. You went from 3 packs to one? WIN. You're smoke free for 2 days? WIN!!!

Wow. That's a lot of vapor. I guess I was down to about a 1/3 pack a day from 1-a-day before I started vaping. So vaping was the last step for me. I only vape 1-2 ml (12 mg) a day in my Protank mini, sometimes less. More if I'm drinking, which I have also cut back on.

Congrats to the OP, I can't even imagine bankrolling 3 packs a day. Even if you needed a new coil and bottle of juice every 2-3 days it would be significantly less expensive. If I were you, I would look into getting a pro tank or similar and rebuilding it to stop the coil costs.

I was a pack a day 3 weeks ago. I seem to use about 3ml of 24mg juice. I don't know how that equates, but that is where I seem to be at, at this point. If someone knows how that equates back to cigarettes, I would be grateful to learn.

I'm fairly new here as well, I have been trying to do some math also. I figure 1.2 mg nicotine per full flavor cig. That *20 is 24 mg. So I mL of 24mg/mL juice. But people say you can't compare it, so I don't really know, but in my mind, 1 mL of 24mg/mL is a pack of Full-Flavors, until somebody explains it to me better lol.

If you smoked 3 packs a day, you probably would do better at a higher nic level. Like 24mg or maybe even more. You'll know if you are vaping too much as other have pointed out above, you'll start feeling dizzy or nauseous. I bet if you up your nic level, the amount of juice you'll go through will be less.

Wow, this forum moves fast. :D Thanks for all the advice/replys. Smoking 3 packs a day cost me 100 bucks a week. The stuff I'm vaping now is 12mg nicotine. You guys are right I might need to move up a notch.

In theory yes, but I think there are really too many variables (such as how efficient your carto/atomizer is at turning juice to vapor, how deeply you inhale e cigs vs cigs, etc, etc) to say this much juice=this many cigs.

I vape about 3ml a day of 18mg which is over 2 packs if you do the math... I smoked a marb red the other day and it had me buzzing really hard. They'd never do that when I smoked half a pack of lights a day.

Yep, if you are only vaping 12 mg nic it would be a good idea to up your nic to 24 and see how you do. :) Good Luck :)

I was a 2+ pack a day when I started. I'll tell you right now if you're using over the counter pre-built you need 36mg. I've been vaping for 5 years know what I know now this is what I would if I wanted totally off the analogs. I would get a rebuildable dripping atomizer RDA. It is the most efficent way to vaporize the nicotine and flavor. No it's not plug and play, but you don't have the habit as a 1/2 pack guy, you got to start out serious. Plenty of instructions on youtube, add me, what ever, but your B and M didn't do you justice by giving you a standard startup kit. As far as flavor there are plenty out there I know you can find one you like. With the right equipment matched with the right nicotine level no reason you can't quit analogs in a day or two.
