Hello everyone. Fairly new member here, but I've been lurking (unregistered) for some time now.

As my first thread I wanted to ask my fellow members "how much is too much e-juice?" when it comes to vaping. I've found myself going through 2-3 15mls bottles every 2 days. Maybe more if I really like the juice. I'm wondering because one of my reasons (first one being my health) I quit stinkies was because I figured I'd also save some money over time. I know once you find your device, learn how to build your own coils, find your all day vape and other favorite flavors and buy them in bulk you can save some money. However, it got me wondering how much liquid in average do other people go through in a day or two.

Thanks in advance! :2cool:

Depends on what you're vaping on, lol, I'm a dripper and I go through around 10-15ml's a day depending on what I'm vaping on. Some attys and builds go through it much faster and I'll blow through juice even faster. I DIY my own juices though, so the cost is significantly reduced.

I remember blowing though 5ml's a day on my Nautilus and flipping out because I didn't think I should be running through a full tank everyday. Oh how naive I was back then.

Nobody can tell you the right or wrong way to vape. Find what works for you and vape it! As long as you aren't smoking and you aren't bankrupting yourself who is anyone to tell you differently?

If you're motivated, you can always do it yourself. I'm not so inclined.

I have a TON of juice around. I've been vapping for five years now, and I have a lot of juices that I tried and didn't like. I've only recently started throwing them out, ,realizing that if I haven't used them in two years, more then likely I won't be using them at all!

I find some flavors that I really like and get them in larger quantities... Dr. Crimmy only sells in 60ml bottles, but a bottle is only $20, and 120ml bottles are $30, so if you find a juice that you really like from Dr. Crimmy, or numerous other sites, pick up a large quantity and you're set for a while.

I have a LOT of juice still laying around, and as I said, I've started to throw out the juices that I don't vape.

Currently waiting for Grants Vanilla Custard (50ml), Dr. Crimmy's Apple Pie Ala Mode (60ml), Nickoticket's Radioactive (60ml) and Absolut Creme Brulee (60ml)...

So let's see.... that's OVER 200ml, and that's just what's in the mail on it's way to me right now!

Yea, I have a problem.

Hello. My name is Sheldon.

and I'm a juiceaholic........

Hmm, I'd estimate about three to five ML a day. I think how much you go through depends a lot on why you vape. I really enjoy it but it wasn't a replacement for anything for me. I just missed smoking but it had been years between when I quit and when I started vaping. I also puff and then put it down a lot.

Not sure there really is an average, just depends on how much you personally use.

Welcome to ECF.

What nicotine level are you vaping?
How heavy of a smoker were you?
What equipment are you using?

These can affect the amount you vape.
Vaping 15 ml of 6 mg is definitely different then vaping 15 ml of 18 mg.
I know when I first started I was a 2 pack a day smoker and it seemed I never put my equipment down.
Dripping and sub-ohm do consume more juice.
if you aren't feeling and ill effect (headaches, weird dreams, etc) then I'd give some more time.

Yeah I have 2 mech mods and a Mvp 3.0 with a subtank mini. The mechs I usually use at home and the regulated/tank for work/driving etc which constitutes around 70 to 80% of my time. But yes, I need to start making my own juices. I'm sure I will save a lot of money over time.

I've considered DIY juices. I guess I've been hesitating because of the initial purchase, lack of workspace at home and 3 kids (5 y/o and below). But yeah. I'm thinking

It doesn't have to be a lab and big investment.
My first DIY order was about $80, and even that included some stuff I don't use (pipettes, for instance)...
All you need really, is
a) a recipe calculator and some recipes to try (free)
b) Nic
c) VG & PG
d) some flavors - buy the ones you need for a few recipes that sound good to you
e) some empty bottles
f) some syringes (1ml, 5ml...)

I mix right on my desk, then lock the stuff in a tackle box.

And my favorite flavor, INCLUDING those I used to buy, is one I mix myself, at a cost of.......under $0.06/ml.
That's right - a 30ml bottle? $1.65

That's a lot of savings, if you're vaping 15mls a day!!

I started vaping 12mg but I found that it was rough on my throat lol. So I started buying 6mg ejuices. I'me actually considering 3mg when possible for my drip mods.
I used to smoke about a pack a day, a pack and a half on a bad day.
I own a Sentinel M16 with a magma, a Skeleton Key with a mutation X v3 and my mpv 3.0 with my subtank mini. Most of my coild builds are .5 to 1 ohms.

As far as I can tell I have not experienced any side effects. I've always had weird dreams so I'm not counting that . I just love vaping :vapor:

About 5-6ml a day for me, almost entirely from a kayfun -- which uses juice fairly quickly, though probably not as fast as an RDA with a really good ejuice flavor. I DIY 99% of everything I vape; it's not 100% because I'm still using WTA, and if the USPS isn't cooperating when I'm expecting flavors, I sometimes must go to the extreme of buying some ejuice.

Since you didn't say what your particular hardware is, it's hard to know if you're vaping every waking minute or just using a juice-hog setup. If it's the former, you might be able to set it down occasionally if you used a slightly higher nic level. if it's the latter... enjoy. :D
