How often do you change your wick?

I'm not sure if it's the juice or the atty. I tend to feel the same way about tanks with just about every juice I've used. The device I think goes optimal much quicker is a bottom-fed Cyclone. It may be that I'm running about double the power in that as I do in my Kayfun-type atties.

Had my, 3 week old gunky coil pop today, but wick's a total champ. Somehow rebuild and hot spot removal was rather painless.

Usually I change my cotton wick about every 2 days.

Days has little or nothing to do with anything; the question is how much juice you've run through it and what's in that juice. I doubt the PG/VG ratio has much influence, but the flavorings sure do. With some of the juices I run, the juice starts looking mighty dark after 3-4 refills; with other juices I can get 7-10.

I agree^^^^ Really depends on the juice and when the flavor starts to fall off.
