There is no early or late! I'm guilty of justifying every purchase saying in only costs _ # of packs! I am not a very fancy vaper, so that's usually 2-3 packs!

Hey, whatever gets you through. I'm a bit fancy, not super fancy though.
Most I've had to do was console myself with what would have been 3 weeks worth of cigarettes.
I think we all do the same :thumb:

Pending regs don't help my spending habits either!

I did at first and just smoked one when the feeling hit but went back to vaping. I always had this little demon sitting on my shoulder saying maybe you should try one just to see. LOL I smoked 47 years and it was tough. I truly believe it is psychological and there is something in cigs that makes you crave them. That cig I had at 7 mos made me literally ill, I had to go brush my teeth. I think the whole deal is finding a flavor u really like and that is not easy especially when the gov doesn't want you to be able to try flavors.

All the time. As a student with a more than full time job, the stress levels are high. I do buy cigarettes and vape. I just smoke less. Usually a pack every few days. A smoke in the morning, a smoke before bed, a smoke after every meal and a smoke in the middle of my homework (averages to about 5 a day). Contrary to popular belief, there are some minimal health benefits from cigarettes, if you only smoke 2-3 a day. For one, in case you might be wondering, it keeps me regular. That is, generally, in the morning after just waking up, a cigarette requires a bathroom trip immediately after. At night, it actually lowers my blood pressure when stress levels are high (Ive tested this by taking my BP before smoking and then immediately after - and yes, I know how to properly take BP, took some training - I even use a stethoscope :) ). Where cigarettes become bad is more than 2-3 a day. Most smokers smoke at least a pack a day - not good.

Vaping isnt a smoking cessation device for me, it just lets me cut WAY back on cigarettes, using cigarettes only when there is a big craving.

We all do things that are bad for our health. Vaping is just letting me do less of the thing that is bad for my health.

My friend was craving cigs a lot since last night. He lost his Alien and his Ego AIO. That caused him to smoke from last night till this afternoon. I felt bad so I gave him my istick Ipower 80W to use with an rda I gave him. That should do until he gets the means to buy a new mod. It's just so scary how strong this addiction is, when one moment one doesn't have their vaping gear they are susceptible to smoking again because they can't control their craving (the truth is everyone handles it differently in that situation though).

I have the ipower 80w, I think its good value for money to be honest but I'm sorry to hear he's smoking again! & good luck to him, I've more or less quit but I'm still on one cigarette a day :(

It sounds like @Skold you are doing better all the time. I know stressful situations make me really crave cigs. I have been smoke free since Jan and still have occasional cravings. In fact I caved a week or so ago and had a cig. It tasted like ashes in my mouth and I smoked every bit of it, lol. After a day or so the cravings went away again. I don't really know what brought them on the last time. I wasn't stressed out about anything.

I recently switched from 12mg to 6mg nic. I'm surprised I'm not having any cravings as my ejuice consumption has only increased about 1ml or so.
Also, last weekend I was at a party where there were quite a few smokers and I'm happy to say, I had no cravings!

Maybe you just needed to remind yourself that you prefer vaping?

Maybe, I didn't really guilt myself out about having the one. It was nasty but I enjoyed that cigarette.

Hoping I get to the point I don't have any cravings like others have posted. Have been thinking I might make up some stronger nic juice to have on hand in case I go through that again.

So glad for vaping. I know I would never have given up the cigs without it.
