How often does the Tag cloud update?

That is the question. A thread I tagged early this morning comes up on a search for the tag. But some posts I tagged - same tag - over an hour ago don't show in a search result. Right now I get a "sorta" search result. A tag search says "showing results 1-1 of 32" and the only thread coming up was the one I tagged much earlier today. I tried the search after the 25 past the hour time update - same result.

Just wondering how this taggy thing works here. How long does it take before a tagged thread will show in a search result for that tag?

It's hard to say what cronjob* this depends on... So it may take 24 hours because the re-build needed might be one of the daily ones, not the hourly ones.

* The server, the webapps (e.g. the forum software), and the databases run regular scheduled maintenance tasks where an accumulation of similar updates can all be performed at the same time. This is much more efficient than doing a database update every time maintenance is needed as this would drag the DB down every few seconds. The slang term is cron job / chronjob or similar because it is a maintenance job chronologically scheduled for a set time hourly or daily.

I just checked the tag I used and the posts are coming up now. (Relieved) I actually gave up on it when it still wasn't working past the 48 hour mark. It was just a point of observation and wonderment about how often tag data is updated. At least on my end for this one it was... a really long time. Perhaps it got hung up due to some weekend maintenance situation.
