There are at least 100 people where I have worked for 15 years. As far as I know, only four are left who smoke. Two of us vape. Neither are allowed on any land or premises owned by the company. Where it used not to be an issue, now you can get fired for it, and there is a smoking Nazi on the accounting staff who actively tries to catch people at it and get them written up and/or disciplined. She doesn't do anything about the GM's family friend who got a job there and throws his cigars on the ground outside the back door, though.

She and her selectively obnoxious ways can get stuffed, because I stealth vaped. My office is inside a complex of larger rooms. I can go days without seeing anyone, so I vaped whenever I felt like it. I have recently stopped vaping, so for me it isn't an issue anymore. I've tried to persuade my best friend there to quit by vaping, but he isn't ready to make the commitment, and he may never be. If I was married to his wife, I wouldn't be able to quit smoking, either. Yeesh!

so I guess side effects of obesity will now overtake smoking as the leading preventable cause of death?

Lo cal vape liquid :)
Lets not fool ourselves. The leading diagnosed cancer each year is lung cancer. Just because we are done with cigarettes does not mean they are done with us. It is typical for someone who smoked from 20 to 35 to develop lung cancer at 55.

I work for the local mental health system... 50% of all cigs are sold to the mentally ill. I let everyone try my box mod and they are blown away.... I thought I was saving lives and supporting the mentally ill but now I have a new mission... Get those with bipolar and schizophrenia off cigs... It's one of my new passions... I've got a few converts but there's a lot of work to be done. Most mentally ill don't realize they can save money by vaping .. And smoke crunch berries and the like!

Its funny, when I first started vaping I would say about 80% of the smokers were "giving vaping a shot". Within two weeks I was the only one left. Now I have gotten from evod minis to buying his first RDA in just 3 months, and three others have approached me to help them get back into it. They were all having similar issues, bad juice, not close enough to a "real smoke", need a better device. I dont give anyone anything they cant handle or dont yet understand but Im glad to be able to help them all out.

We're about 60 people where I work, I started vaping ( 2nd attempt ) 1.5 years ago and since I started I have gotten 4-5 other to start as well, think we are about 50/50 smokers/vapers now, lucky we have no problem vaping in the office both the GM and other employees are very supporting about the whole quitting the smokes thing
