Also where is the best place to buy Snus? Anywhere online? I'd really like to quit smoking, but not even sure how to go about this to be honest.

I chose SnusCentral as my first place to order because they had one I wanted to try available in loose form. Best to use a credit card instead of bank/ credit card. My bank blocks out of country and I got frustrated fixing that. Also, SnusCentral ended up being more reasonable for shipping and everything was in stock for my choices. I bought the smallest tea bags I could find off eBay and just fold it over, cut of excess and I have a pouch. I do without pouch when in the mood. It was what they call a mudslide at first. I got better at it.I get regular 8 mg nic strength because I'm in it for the WTAs and gt my nic from vaping and snuff too. I don't put under top lip. I stuff it way back and so do other people. Your not going to get any kind of rush of pleasure, not like with snuff. I'm really pleased with both and I've only had one flavor of the snus s far. I have 6 flavors on the way. I bought 4 10 packs ( a roll) and two singles to try because it didn't raise the shipping. The shipping goes up in increments of certain number dollars spent. With my just almost $200 total order and utilizing first time customer 10% discount ( displayed on many page while shopping online) and buying in 10 packs I paid a limitless over $4.00 a can. There is almost double the amount of snus in loose form or same price and the tea bags are about $5.00 delivered for 150 or so. Like that. It's like ordering online. When you confirm your order on snus central it then goes to payment info trough Dibs, a limitless different but same....enjoy and feel confident that even urging your toughest moments quitting smoking that the snus will get the job done. It is very addicting too though and if that bothers you you might have to tough it out. I say why? It is not as harmful as propaganda will lead, did lead me to elieve. Lovely stuff, snus and snuff. To me anyway

Got some Cope Straight and Skoal Apple...lets give this another go... recently did some research and For Smokers Only is a good site

I will try Camal mellow one of these days. Just heard they are sweet but sometimes I might want sweet. The Swedish Snus has more variety but I didn't see sweet. It's a lovely solution to several things, snus and snuff. One being initial hit effects missing ( solved by snuff) and WTAs and less expensive than WTA needs from e juice. I was vaping more than I wanted to be vaping even though I did slow down. Doing all three add dimension! What fiend huh?

    Somewhere between here and there
Tin foil hat? Just kidding. I believe that many people still smoke one or two a day not necessarily because they physically need it but the mental addiction makes it ten times harder to quit completely rather than if it was a physical addiction. If you really want it to happen then it will. It might just take some time. Are you vaping too? Maybe an ecig would help to take care of the physical aspect if that's what you are missing.

Well didn't go as planned smoked 2 cigs today, I don't get it. Why do I worry so much about mouth cancer from dip, but not cigarettes? I guess because all my family smokes and has no issues health wise. I'm not sure.

Yes the brainwashing is bad. 2 is nothing in a quitting effort. Just think natural and clean. Read the other propaganda about how they swep the floors for tobacco to put in cigs and all the additives part and the COST. But mostly the dirtiness. I find snus very clean in spite of the color, it tastes fresh and I know it's safe. I started about z2 weeks ago and I've already ordered a years supply. Take the time it takes and you'll be fine in the end. The other propaganda available in links on ecf, I think "stubby" puts the most out or the best anyway.

I'm blushing, but then it could be the rather strong snuff I just put in my nose.

I've been at this for nearly 4 years is all. 4 years ago the thought of using smokeless tobacco of any kind never entered my mind. I thought if I ever touched the stuff my jaw would fall off, my teeth would rot, and I would ether die or be horribly disfigured. Smoking was so much better. It wasn't until I started reading Brad Rodu's blog that I began to see the light of day.

The new blog by Carl Phillips is also very good, though he hasn't gotten into smokeless to much as of yet he does get into the lies and the politics behind it

Thanks Stubby, but do you think Rodu is referring to US Smokeless products too, like Skoal and Copenhagen? Or is he just referring to Snus?

He is referring to both. He has done a number of studies in Sweden because it's a good laboratory on the use of smokeless tobacco and the effects on a population level, but he has also done studies on US smokeless. If there is a difference in risk between the two it is so small it is difficult to find in population studies. I still prefer Swedish snus mostly because it is spit-free. Dip is also a bit harder on the gums. As far as major health issues go the difference is small to none.

Sweet! So I can go ahead and dip away without any real bearing on my mind hopefully now

Well, if it ends up not working for you at least you know there will be other options. I'm not educated about the nic content in US dip or chew. I thought I read it is lower. To me that suggests it might be lower in the WTAs but I could be totally wrong. I'll find out eventually. I'm not really in it for the nic, because I still cape and also do snuff. Don't want to get hyper. Quite the opposite really.

I'm pretty sure the TSNAs have been lowered too

    Never Smoked.

Drink Beer Regularly. Said it was his way of getting his Vitamin B.

Alcohol and smoking cause more mouth cancer than dipping does, thus that could be what caused it and not the ST in and of itself. A lot of the studies done about ST actually don't take into account if the persons that are using the product smoke or drink as smoking and drinking causes more cases of mouth cancer than using dip does.
