That's funny- believe it or not, when I was struggling to get more than a few tablespoons with each squeeze on my pump, I went into the kitchen to look for the baster, but couldn't find it. :)
Well, I found the baster. Had to. Yesterday, I'd grabbed the gas/oil mix for my weedeater, and was getting ready to gas it up. Wife came up to talk to me about something, and when she left, I promptly opened the cap on the mower and filled it. The mower takes straight gas.

Luckily, I realized it as soon as I put the can down, and had to ask the wife help me find the baster, because the new pump hasn't arrived. In all my years, I'd never done that. I'm officially old and losing it.

And now you owe wifey a turkey baster. :)

When I was a little guy, my dad bought a Saab (or Saab Story as I call them). It had a 2-cycle engine in it so had to mix oil every time you filled it up. He'd hand the kid the bottle and told him throw it down the gas tank before filling. One kid didn't believe him so he didn't put the oil in. Engine blew up.

It's that time of year. Spider season. They start coming out in force in July and are rampant in August and September. They make webs all over my house. Looks like the Addams Family. So I spray some Taurus SC in the eaves and that cuts it down dramatically. Taurus SC is the same stuff I put around my foundation for subterranean creatures. I have spoken about this stuff several times throughout this thread. If you have spider issues this is the product to use.

Can i vent a portable ac into the return of the central ac?? While both are running simultaneously?

Sure... You can. But Isn't it going to be Better to Vent the Portable A/C to the Outside?

If I put a Portable A/C inside a Sealed House, I'm not really Cooling anything. Because the Net Amount of Cooling is Always going to be Less then the Net Amount of "Heat" that the A/C makes due to Efficiency.

Yeah, I'll probably vent thru the patio door. See how cold I can get it overnight first.

That sounds like a Better call.

I remember this Physics Instructor decades ago talking about Air Conditioning say'n... "Don't Think of it as Cooling. Think of it as Taking the Heat from where Don't Want It (Inside your house) and then putting it somewhere that you Don't Care About it (Outside your House). The Amount of Heat is Unchanged. It's just in a More Enjoyable place."

    LOL

5.0 out of 5 stars - Great Work "Pencil"

I wanted something I could use to make cut marks on wood. I saw these 5.6mm Lead Holders and though I'd give it a try. I wasn't expecting much for the price. But figured if the Lead was OK, I could ditch the Lead Holder for a better one.

What a Pleasant Surprise. This Lead Holder has a Solid Feel. A Textured Grip. And is a Hex Main Body so it doesn't want to roll off the work bench. And that BIG Fat 5.6mm Lead is perfect for making Easy to See Cut Marks.

My only knock on it is it would have been nice if it had a Pocket Clip. But for a Solid Lead Holder that comes with a Total of 6 Leads at about 1/2 the Price of many/most lead holders, it is a Great Deal.

BTW - It doesn't come with a Sharpener. But the El-Cheap-o 99 Cent Store Sharpener I found in the back of my desk drawer works fine with it.

Well, if anyone is listening ...
Summer Project - Squeaky Floors. Master Bath, Laundry Area (hall and closet), and Kitchen.
Not sure if the kitchen cabinets are mounted on top of linoleum flooring, I will have to move the stove and the fridge to check.
Thinking of starting in the master bath. Moving the "throne" and the vanity are first, then removing linoleum. IF (big if) the sub flooring is solid snd undamaged, thinking (more like hoping) flooring screws to tighten floors down, and replace linoleum with self-stick tiles.
I have worked with lauan before, but it's been awhile...
Any geniuses (or at least someone knowledgable) feel free to advise, I am listening.
