That's one of the trade offs for using VG instead of PG.
PG Translates flavor very well, makes smaller clouds and is thinner for ease of wicking/filling.
VG makes big clouds, more difficult to handle, not so good with flavor.
You didn't mention if you're thinning it with anything, or if it comes pre-thinned. The VG that I use for my DIY is a bit thicker than shampoo (I use Panteen, if that helps any (For my shampoo, not my VG)) and I doubt very much that 100% VG would wick well for me.
You may also be experiencing vapor tongue...happens to all of us now and again, everything just sort of stops tasting like anything... Not so much on foods and things, but the vapor specifically. I've had the strongest flavors in my arsenal on my tanks when I had the tasting problem....and it was super dull.
Assuming it's not vapor tongue, there are a few things that might help. If you're DIYing your
juice, then these will be easier than ordering, so I'm going to assume that you're not.
Find a vendor that offers extra shots of flavor in your juices. There are a few around, though I don't know any off the top of my head, since I've been making my own
juice for 2 years.
Try mixing a little bit of PGA in with your juices. When I say a little, I mean a little... A drop or two for a 10ml bottle should help. (PGA is Pure Grain Alcohol, vodka is a good example)
Also, drink more water. Water will help clear your taste buds and might help you taste the more subtle flavors.
Hope this helps.
