Hey guys so I need help, I saw a post that some people vape around 2-4 ml a day but I definitely go through like 20-25ml a day, I pretty much just vape all day at 3 nic especially when home at computer I'll just sit there n vape away, how can I reduce using so much juice in a day? Obv the answer is dont vape so much but like how can I do that, maybe up the nic?

What watts do you cook your e-juice at? Like ST said, less can reduce your consumption.

My juice guzzling brother switched to a pod system and in time stopped using his large gear. He now comsumes in a month what he used to vape in a day. He went up to 6 strength at first and is now back to 3. The secret with pods is getting the right drag for your liking so some trial and error devices may be needed.

Around here the jusfog mini fit is pretty popular.

I don’t think the goal ought to be x amount of mls per day. If you’d like to use less juice, if course higher nic should help you do that.

The goal ought to be to get as much nic as you need, but not too much, while still meeting your needs for the hand to mouth side of vaping.

Some people do fine with 2 mls a day, some use 30.

In theory, if you double the nic strength, you should be able to vape half as much juice. But since you say you’re sitting at the computer chain vaping, you might find you still vape as much, but you’re getting too much nic.

Usually people who use 2-4ml a day, vape MTL at low wattages. I vape MTL at 20 watts and go through 5-7ml a day.

If you love the gear and attys you are using - then switching to MTL probably won't suit you ;)

Are you making your own ejuice? DIY is a heck of a lot cheaper way to vape. Maybe look into that if you don't already do it.

Try 40 watts and see how that works for ya.

I used to chain smoke at the computer. It's just too easy. Now I keep my device in another room so I have to get up and walk for a bit and keep a cup of drink nearby so again I have to get up and walk to the toitee. Makes it so you end up inhaling a lot less vaper and get more excersize.

    What is your real goal?
    A) Reduce the #ml you use (maybe due to costs per ml?)
    B) Reduce your total nic usage per day?
    C) Reduce the volume of chemicals you inhale per day (maybe a harm reduction thing)?

All of the above? None? What? Is it just A?

I Vape all day like all day I always have the Vape in my hand I'm always at home etc but because of the setups I use I don't use as much juice. Upping the nicotine can help depending on why your constantly vaping. If it's because of the hand-to-mouth or just the action the repetitive action than upping the nicotine probably isn't going to do much if however the reason you're vaping so much is because you're just not getting a satisfying level of nicotine in upping the nicotine would absolutely help. For me it's more of the hand-to-mouth and just doing something with my hands. I vape 3 milligrams per milliliter or less. But I use mouth to lung devices and low wattage so it doesn't use that much juice. I sometimes enjoy a restricted lung hit so I keep two different devices on my table near where I'm at one set up in a strict mouth to lung setup and the other one a looser setup. Like right now I'm using a sub tank which is really rare for me since I discovered rta's but I'm still projected to use maybe 5 today which is more than my normal. You may want to try mixing yourself if you don't already that way you can bring the cost of eJuice down but I can definitely see a problem with how much you go through a day just because in the future it may be harder to get eJuice so I would want to reduce that consumption to. I guess you just got to figure out why you're vaping so much and fix it based on that

One simple trick that can work is to keep your mod on the other side of the room. So when you want to vape you walk across the room to do so. I reduced nic levels by keeping a mod with the new/lower nic level on my desk and the old/higher nic level across the room. This trick can work surprisingly well. GL

    Hi.
How long have you been vaping? Did you use vaping to quit tobacco?

"Sometimes" instead of upping the nic content you can just put the vape down and not vape as often. Increasing nic strength has never worked for me, it seems to work for others though so its worth a try.
For me just putting the vape down and not vaping for a while keeps the nic tolerance in check and keeps a low mg fresh and with a relatively good nic hit. Increasing nic mg just makes me feel off.

You are using 60mg to 75mg of nic a day. You could try 4mg and you might only use 15ml a day for a while but you might also get used to it over time and find yourself back up and 20 to 25ml after a few weeks.

No harm in experimenting with dosage and DIY gives you the opportunity to mix to what ever mg you might like to try, 3.5mg or 3.75mg, whatever.
Im vaping 4.66mg this week down from 5mg last week. :D 5mg left me feeling satiated but groggy, 4.66mg I feel satiated but just a little less groggy and I an still using a similar amount of ml's. I probably couldve just gone to 4.5mg but DIY gives you the luxury of messing around and trying out things.

    Good luck! Have fun.

The hand-to-mouth action may play as great a role in vaping for harm reduction as the nicotine content of the juice. You have to strike a balance that works for you.

Switching from high output devices to MTL/pod devices lowered my juice consumption to a few mils per day, though I have to careful not to mindlessly chain-vape to satisfy the hand-to-mouth with the high nic pods, which usually results in a headache.

For me, the best medium is high-nic and putting the device somewhere out of arms reach to avoid over consuming out of habit.

If you still have the urge to chain-vape there is nothing wrong with having a low-nic device to mindlessly vape in addition to the low-wattage high-nic, MTL device.

A single 3-4mm coil with 5 wraps of 24ga wire at about 12-15 watts gives off plenty of vapor and makes everything last longer. Three strands of 32gauge wire twisted with a drill works pretty good too.
I've used Clapton coils that were thicker and they need higher wattages just to get them to kick out any vapor.
    More coils mean more watts.

I avg.18 ml's a day mostly dtl, some mtl. When I vaped 6mg of nic, I still vaped the same amount. Now vaping 1.5 mg nic so nothing changed. My juice is diy so the cost isn't too bad.
To be honest at my age(73), I'm not too concerned. For me it's a matter of not smoking 2 ppd, like I did for 50+ years.

My wife helped me stop vaping so much. She got one of those little bats they give away at MLB game days, then she sneaks up on me and knocks the mod out of my mouth. It's not ideal but at least she isn't using the full size bat anymore.
