New to vaping... almost 3 weeks since my last analog. Funny story is when I'm researching about e-cig, I kinda have planned. I counted how many puffs I get from an analog before a regular stick is done. When I started vaping, I use it to control myself from using my setup. But it's FUN! I guess it's part of the excitement to produce vape, not stinky smoke... not going out (lives in Phoenix, AZ) to smoke.

I chain vape. I actually ordered 24mg nic juice at first, coz I thought coming from analog will help me with nicotine level. I can't sleep, had chest pain, headaches few days. My friend who vapes told me to lower the nicotine level. 18mg/ml works for me right now with chain vaping...

I don't necessarily see a problem with chain vaping unless you see a problem with it. With that said, I think your body will tell you when you've had enough. The thing to keep in mind is that nicotine is not necessarily being absorbed in the same concentration levels when compared to cigs, meaning you may find yourself vaping more.

The other thing to remember is that when we smoked cigs, it was "smoke until it's out, then walk away." With vaping, you're not always having a straight five-minute vape session then letting it go for an hour or however long. Think about the drags you took on one cig, then think about vaping. You're prob doing the equivalent or even less when it really comes down to it because you're spacing the vaping out instead of trying to cram in as many puffs as you can on a cig until it's finished.

Again, I don't see a problem unless it's a problem for you. Enjoy vaping and be glad you're done with smokes. As others have said, you'll get a rhythm down that works for you.

Well, I've found that I can cut my juice consumption in half if I keep my PV on the bookshelf in my living room and stand there when I vape as opposed to sitting at my computer and suckin' on a USB pass-through while I read this forum. It also reduces the alarming tendency I've developed lately of spending long periods of time sitting on my ....

So there's my strategy for home. I'll hafta come up with another plan for work. Going outside for a "vape break" isn't too unattractive a notion at this time of year but screw that when the winter comes around.

Sounds like things are working out. Good Deal.

I think what you will find in a Few Weeks is that Chain Vaping is more of a Mental Addiction than a Dependency on Nicotine.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of Work do you Do? And were you able to Smoke whenever you wanted to at Work?

I'm an engineer in the audiovisual field and I had to go outside to smoke. But I've been able to vape indoors without any grief from anyone - so far.

I would suggest Leaving you PV in your Car. Or perhaps in a Break Area if you trust the People you work with. The Last thing I would do is Carry the PV on you.

I can't link to this thread because it is Closed. But if you read Post #24 there is something I helped someone with which seemed to work for them.

Hey, I'm really glad to be off tobacco but this is gettin' kinda ridiculous. I used to smoke a cigarette every hour or so but now I'm like a hungry baby on a teat, vaping almost constantly. I don't know if it's because I need to vape a lot more than I smoked to feel satisfied, if it's the novelty factor or if it's just because I like it so much.

I lowered the nicotine level in my juice (except for my first vape of the morning) but I think that might just be encouraging me.

I use to chain vape, and I posted here for help about it a couple of years ago, and a wise vaper told me the reason was that my nic level was too low, that at 18mg/ml I was not getting the amount of nic my body craved. I switched to vaping 30mg/ml and now can go a lot longer between hits.

I opened this thread thinking you had a solution to it. I chain vape like crazy and use 24mg!

Ha! Same here. Except I'm still primarily on 36mg all day. I think I'm almost to the point of not buying any more 36mg though. It crossed my mind on my last order, but I freaked out thinking about it. Meh.... I'd love to get down to 18mg :vapor:

Honestly upping your mg may help if you just quit, however if your more then a few weeks in you may not want to go backwards. You need to continue to vape where you are until your body adjusts to the lower nicotine levels. If you have been off cigarettes for any length of time, you may need to find a hobby to occupy yourself. Quitting is hard and a good part of the addiction is filling a void or taking our mind off something else be it boredom, anxiousness/nervousness, stress. Sometimes you have to look for the root cause rather feed the addiction in ways a lot of us if not most of us are acclimated too and try to find multiple ways to attack the problem.

I did that and it passes with time. its new and you are self conscious about it. as the newness wears off so will the chain vape and you will go back to a slightly higher nic juice. I kinda just stayed where i was.

same here, I have found each time I reduce my nic, I start chain vaging for 30 to 60 day, but it does decreases as the brain get use to the nic level.
