On this part I am going to disagree to a point. On paper yes this is correct, however, the power output type plays a very big part in how a device vapes. I personally can not stand the vape from an istick as the output is not DC.

For some this might not be noticeable for me it is, to the point I prefer the drop off on a mech to using 90% of the regulated devices out. The Provari, the CoolFire and the Disrupter have the output I can enjoy. There may be others, but I haven't found them yet.
Great Point :) but that's not disagreeing with me :p I was just trying to make a point that what seems to be cheaper up front might not be.
Plus unless a person wants to chase clouds they might not want or need a 100 watt device :)

WVloony... I am in Randolph County between Snowshoe and Canaan. When I moved from AK, I rented in White Sulphur Springs for 6 months while I house hunted. The winters here are worse than the winters in Southeast AK but more daylight so I can see all the nastiness. That part of AK is actually a temperate rainforest more like the weather you get in Seattle than what most think of when they think of Alaska.

Thanks! I love Alaska and miss it everyday. So it's going to be a blast being back up there.

Prudhoe bay is one of my absolute favorite places to work. I've only been up there twice but man was it fun!!

You did a very nice job with it. For a long time I didn't even understand why the vape on most regulated devices seemed flat to me, didn't matter what topper or ohms I would run, I just couldn't enjoy it. So my friends know me as a diehard mech user because I can enjoy the vape from a mech.

Even with the current price point on provari I can't afford to buy a new one, so didn't have any other options. My MVP while a good device doesn't even give me that vape, nor does the istick I have. Both are currently setting gathering dust til I PIF them to someone else.

So when you said the other day about the output on the Disrupter I got my hopes up and I must say I was not disappointed. Now I just need to budget for a couple more cells for it, and already have a 306 on the way to use. It is so nice to get MY vape back.
My brother in law wanted to start Vaping, if you want to PIF the istick to me I will pair it with a tank for him?

For me the decision was high watts, good price and I already have a set of batteries.

I can't spend more than $50 at the moment and I wanted the most bang for the buck. If a 50w device like the disrupter is better than the 100 istick. I'll probably get it. But I didn't realize that there was that big of a difference.

Some vape shops will let you try out a device  Maybe you can find a shop or a person that has both devices or devices like them and will let you try them with the same tank and see (taste) the difference :)

So I have an istick 30 and was thinking of going to the 100. I already have some Samsung 18650's and a charger for them.

Are y'all saying that I would get a better vape off of the disrupter vs the 100w istick?

I really like my 30w so that's why I was thinking of sticking with the same brand. Is there really that much of a difference?
Compared to the istick 30 which I own and used daily before the disruptor came into my life ( THANKS INNOKIN AND ECF ) The disruptor wins hands down consistent vape every time no burnt/dry hits. There is a big noticeable difference between dc/dc and pwm I've only had it for two days now but it is hands down better than the istick and battery life for days the innocell technology is far more superior than standard 18650 batteries!! I'll post a more thorough review after I've put it thru the paces for awhile but I'm confident saying the disruptor blows istick out of the water!!!!

Not around here. And they don't carry the 100w istick.

I mean, if there is a massive difference, I'll probably just order a disrupter. But if it's more of a personal preference. I might just stick with the 100w istick because I already have the batteries and charger. And the price is nice.

I really like the 30w I have. But then again, that's been my main vape experience so far

I actually have some friends who could use the gear but like many of us can't afford it, one the guys was using an ego so old he has wrapped it with duct tape. Just waiting on the next time I see him to pass at least one of them on to him.

This is from Innokin Technology | Facebook for our UK Vapers :)

Vapeabouti.com writes about it: "England officially announces support for vaping!" In an unprecedented move, Public Health England, a government health organization has announced their full support in offering vapor devices to aid in smoking cessation. Marking the first time any government health agency, anywhere in the world, has publicly announced it is pro vaping.

Public Health England (PHE) released its official findings of the largest study ever conducted on vaping, and concluded by their estimates that vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking. PHE officials said they believe vapor products “have the potential to make a significant contribution to the endgame for tobacco”.

The contrast is ironic, our neighbors across the pond move to officially adopt vaping as a form of tobacco cessation. While misinformed politicians in the states, want to ban it through crippling regulations.

A number of major government health officials backed the findings, including England’s public health minister Jane Ellison, and the countries chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies.

Hopefully England`s decision will influence other world governments to follow suite. Vaping can, and does save lives, and it has the potential to save over a billion people from the harmful effects of smoking."

Fully understand that were most of my great went. I had a big collection at one time then went crazy and decided that all my friends needed to vape to so I pifd alot of stuff I want using and then money got right before I could purchase more gear. Then I found ECF and win my disruptor was pifd a mod right before that and I won another contest so I'm good now, it feels great to help someone stop smoking don't it?

And then you have me in the good old US

This is also from Vape Prohibition Begins » VAPE ABOUT IT

Thanks to corrupt politicians lead by Mark Leno who is in the pockets of big pharma, vaping will now be categorized as a tobacco product in California.

Unless some miracle is to happen, SBX2 5 will pass, pending a final vote. The state which is home to the majority of leading e-liquid brands, mod manufacturers, and has the highest concentration of vape shops. Will now have to operate in a heavily regulated environment. In a state treats vaping the same as smoking a cigarette.

Within the same 24 hours that England`s health department has officially announced its full support for vaping as a safe method of smoking cessation. The corrupt, misinformed law makers in the state of California have agreed to prohibition.
That needs to be repeated…
The leading government health organization of AN ENTIRE COUNTRY has publicly stated it believes vaping to be 95% less harmful than smoking, and wants to offer vapor devices as a medical therapy.
While politicians in California just voted to categorize it as tobacco, which will cripple countless small businesses. A decision made on the misinformation and outright blatant lies of Mark Leno and his supporters.
So why did this happen?
Mark Leno can whine all he wants that “its about protecting children” and protecting public health. No, this comes down to two simple things:
The loss of taxes collected from cigarette sales by the state, and the loss of profits by big pharma slanging their ineffective cessation products.
Now because of government greed, and corporate greed small business owners will have to suffer. Entrepreneurs who risked their financial livelihoods will suffer, as will thousands of employees.
The final tally on the vote must be had, before it goes into effect. Not every senator was present during the hearing to cast their vote. But as it stands, the entire industry is about to be impacted and changed, and unfortunately not for the better.

They added this pic which seems appropriate

Plus I can't stress enough about battery safety, think of a 18650 battery like a small pipe bomb

Ever seen a LiPo blow? If an 18650 is a pipe bomb, a LiPo is one heck of a chunk of c4. Back in the early days of LiPo batteries and brushless motors in r/c, I ran an outrigger hydro that ran well over 120mph. It caught a wave and submerged at around 100 and the boat came apart. It nicked one of the LiPo packs then all hell broke loose. First one blew and set the second pack off. 3 officials at the event went to the ER with shrapnel injuries, hundreds of dead fish, and a whole crowd of wet people. I was 60 feet from it and lost an $800 radio from water damage, and got a few cuts from flying carbon fiber. I would rather have an 18650 blow in my pocket than a LiPo blow 20 feet from me. ALL batteries are dangerous and need to be treated with respect. That involved a pair of 6C packs, but if the boat hadn't been under 10 feet of water, it could have been a lot worse. Don't think for a second that LiPo batteries are any safer than 18650's.
