You can check it with a USB Voltage Detector to make sure the current don't fluctuate
I got a Xtar V101 USB Current/Voltage Detector from RTD Vapor for a under $6.
But I seen I seen cheaper ones on eBay that sale for around $1.50

What it nice about these is you plug it in between the USB port and your device so you can watch it while it charges to see if the voltage drops or spikes real high.
They real nice to check to see if a PC or Laptop can handle charging a mod too.
I also found out playing with mine is that some of my USB cables only supported 500mAh even though the USB wall plug adapter and my device was 1000mAh![]()
I would change the cables and it would go back up to 1000mAh.
I don't know if this is normal and they are old out dated cables or maybe I just got a couple bad cables![]()
Thanks... I do not Typically charge things in my car anyways.
