Recently a friend of mine brought over a NGP 4 to my house, I was quite surprised by the build quality of the newest model so I pulled the trigger on a Genesis Mini today. I will let you know how I feel about it when it arrives.

Here's an NGP video showing you how to construct the atty (not much new information here for people who have used a genesis style atty before, but gives you a good look at the mod) with english subtitles!

My mini arrived today. I have been using it with a 14500 since my batteries didn't arrive in time. For the price, I am very impressed with it so far, but obviously the coil needs to be broken in and I need to get myself some 325 mesh (they don't seem to use that here for some reason) for it to wick better with my Boba's. Once the mesh arrives and I've had a while to play with it I will write down my thoughts on it. I am primarily interested in how it fares compared to my (non-custom) HH .357.

Had some time to play with the device and get it running like I want it to. Had some issues with juice leaking (was wicking too much) seems to be solved now by making taking smaller puffs (just got used to the HH) and constructing a solid wick without a hole in the middle (the guy who deals with this took his time and we went through the possible issues for over an hour on Skype). Pity he doesn't speak English. He was also quick to respond to my main gripe that there are no vent holes in the bottom of the device (there are two things that look like their holes but are not fully drilled). These are meant for unscrewing the bottom cap in case a slightly larger battery is inserted (obviously if you get quality batts this shouldn't be an issue) into the device. He quickly agreed that from now they will drill the holes completely to allow venting. I will drill my own and would suggest people who have one already should do the same. I do not want to give up my device, even for 2 days to send it back to have drilled which should sum up how much I love it.

Features I think deserve mention:

LED indicates when battery is dying
touch switch is awesome

What I don't like:

No vent holes (this will be fixed in future versions and is not so hard to do myself)
Tank cannot be removed/taken apart for cleaning. Cannot use alcohol to clean (tank can crack)

New NGP Genesis mods:
They are working on a new version of the mod, it has a unique switch type (video linked is in Hungarian, but there is no magnet, you push the switch ring up around the PV and gravity pulls the switch down to break contact). New version is also quite a bit shorter due to the new switch. It also has a solid polycarbonate tank (which will make the APV tougher). This is why they are having supply issues. They are swamped with requests but don't have enough parts to meet demand for the old models and aren't ready to ship the APVs (small delay with getting on of the parts for the mod).

There is no list for this yet! I was considering getting a zenesis, but these devices are just so good (not as good, but good enough). I'm not sure if the zen justifies the price (for me) just yet.

edit: I should have added, it's not completely rebuildable. It costs 2000 HUF for a complete repair for the current ones (don't quote me on this but this may also include buffing out the scratches. This is not such a huge deal for me (since I can have it back after 48 hours) people outside of Hungary, you kinda need 2 devices to be safe (or be able to live without the device for 2 weeks+). Good news is the new tanks will be polycarbonate and VERY hard to break.

(thanks to JollyRogers for bringing this up)

unfortunately the touch sensor of my NGP went down after one day of pleasant vaping. i allready miss it, but for further i will get the mechanical one ... i am not sure if i fired unconsciously once during this day, simply by holding the device in one hand while being busy with my dog in the other hand ....

and like before: very friendly customer service by their web developper :)

vaping ok

That slide switch is genius. I wish I could understand what he was saying, because I think he mentions how to lock it so it won't fire? What I didn't like is that poly threaded tank. That is way to proprietary in my opinion. Cool, but if it broke, then what? I would love to have one regardless, as long as I got a few tanks for backup! Great looking PV.

I tried to visit their site and it seems to be down. I almost ordered one a while ago, but I couldn't understand how to order what I wanted. I would like to know the amp rating on the touch switch also...
