@pufZeppelin are you around? Please let us know.

The big tree in my backyard just came down. Bug as in wide not too tall which is good because my backyard is tiny. No apparent damage. Hit the back screen porch but, just the top branches. There apparently are some up above the porch roof because I can here it bumping the porch roof a bit.
Matt I'm so soory you lost your tree but at least it didn't hurt your house. Keep your fingers crossed I'm as lucky.

Wow, some wind and rain has started here.
Same here.

Have any sheets of plywood? Put them against the door and back the truck and car up against the plywood, would give a little more bracing for the door. If you have some tires off rims you could put those between the rear bumpers and the plywood or something along that line.

Good luck Classy!

Bwahahaaa ! Iffin I had plywood it would be on my windows !

Mobile sleeping trailers headed your way as well.

Saw a 53' trailer hooked to a truck fueling up at the Davey Crocket truck stop earlier.

The trailer was converted into a mobile shelter assumably full of beds by the looks of things.

Wish I could remember the name or website printed on it.

Pretty bad here, off and on, in the West Melbourne-Palm Bay Area. Several tornado warnings. One has touched down in a Palm Bay mobile home park. 6 homes destroyed, but no casualties reported.
Don't like!

How do they always know where the mobile homes are?

Still hanging around here. Decided to come in for a bit. The outer bands that are hitting us are pretty much keeping us in a tornado warning rout. Seems like every half hour we keep getting a new alert. Tornado watch is in effect until midnight tonight.

I think the air pressure is giving me a headache. Just a dull one that just does not want to go away.

It's getting right nautical around here now. Wind is whipping, probably 80mph or more. Raining sideways. Also looking like the small citrus looking (never had fruit so I'm not sure) tree on the front patio looks like it's going to come down too.

Lookin at the wsvn.com radar and were getting a top here in Hlwd that's pretty angry within this band. And another following lookinmore intense. Weather Chan iPhone feed says 59 mph. Doesn't look it but sounds it at this moment…

Oops, had to leave the room. Small debris was hitting the window. Above little red demon brought home a waterspout. Must have passed close my loc. The ATT alert came in half way thru.

Stuff's comin your way. Hate the dodgeball but it is what it is with such a wide wet storm. Feeds the aquifer for the 26th Century. Holding at about 56mph. It's 53 in Kendall just heard.

Good luck. :)

I don't see why we have to get a new tornado warning every half hour. That weather radio buzzer is driving me nuts! Why can't they just say 'Tornado warning in effect until further notice'?

Wish it was just a storm. But considering some Floridians may end up losing everything they have and others may be forced to find alternative places to live because their homes are badly damaged, I think they have every right to hysteria. And all that with limted funds in many cases.

Thank you!

Be careful, it'll come back with friends..
Right. Look at Windy.com and check the direction the wind is going at Tampa. Right now, it's pushing all the water straight out of the bay. Once Irma passes, the exact opposite will happen, with extra vigor for a while.

Just Checking in :)
We are just getting a little rain at this point here in Sebring, no worse than a normal Florida afternoon thunderstorm. Looking at the track of Irma, it will get worse for us this afternoon/tonight.

Burnie is in Sebring, looks like they have some hefty weather at the moment.
