Hi Everyone. Sorry to burst in on the forum but i thought everyone should know about this. I spent 120 bucks and well as far as i am concerned its gone. Well Earl you and me are in the same boat buddy.. I bought one of those tornado tank kits as well the first day i tried it. It leaked all over me wile i was driving my Tractor trailer down the road. When i got home i called them and apparently they knew about this issue in Florida because the girl i talked to was nice and told me that they had these new neoprene caps for the mouth piece that are supposed to work better. Well i finally got them after a week and then from there i tried it again. Going down the road i took a few hits of the tornado and once again its leaking all over me. Well i put it away and today when i got home i call them again in Florida. The first guy i got on the phone wasn’t listening to a word i said. I kept telling him i didn’t want this model anymore buy he just kept pushing a sale so then i finally told him i wanted to speak to a manager well there wasn’t one available so he took my phone number and i was surprised he called me back in less than 5 minutes. But once again like you said he's telling me i don’t know how to use this product and i have 4 days left on my product warranty and i should send it in for the tech people to look at it. He told me if it was broke they would fix it or replace it but as for a trade forget it. My friend has the screw driver and i liked it i was going to order one but when i saw the video for the tornado tank well i thought it was the newest and best thing so i bought it well i am greatly let down in totally wicked products and customer support and would not recommend them to anyone.[/FONT]

im sorry that you are having such a hard time with your tornado tank and with CS. I had the same leaking problem when I first started and it was because I was drawing on it too hard. You cant draw on them like an actual cig or the atty floods and thats where your leaking comes from.... You have to draw on it long and slow. It took me a long time to get it right.
As for there customer service I personally have never had a problem with them but I have heard a few people who have. I do know that I dont like the people that answers the phones there. Any time I have an issue I send them an email and usually get a quick response and proper solution. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

Wickedmama i know i didn’t state this in my first post but is it supposed to leak while sitting not using it? When you are driving a truck at 70 mph down the road you really don’t have time to clean it every 5 minutes. I’m sorry i sound kind like an ... but from what i have seen here on the forum and what their customer rep told me on the phone this product has issues and maybe totally wicked should go back to the drawing board with it again.

you dont sound like an ... just some one who is very frustrated. Trust me I know the feeling I have been there myself. Now as for it leaking while your not using it that can happen. If you flooded it when you took a drag on it and then sat it down then yes it will leak when your not using it cause it is flooded. Other then that I dont know. All the tank systems have there issues and from what I have read on here all of the issues are the same from all diffrent vendors. If you want to keep trying to make it work here is my suggestion When you get to your rest stop clean all the leaked juice off then take the tank out and take the atty off the battery and blow out all the access juice in the atty on to a paper towel blowing from the battery end. Put the atty back on the battery, put the tank back in and take 2 light short draws with out pushing the battery button then you should be good to go. Just remember to take slow long draws pulling the vapor into your mouth before inhaleing. Now after all that if it still leaks then I would demand a new atty.
I do agree with bjannr that tw is oneof the most expensive sites. I only ordered from there because thats what my brother suggested to me because thats what he has used for the last two years. If you need anymore help or have anymore questions I am happy to help since I have the exact same thing you do I have worked through the issues.

I personally have not had much luck with the tank systems. I also have a job where I need to be able to use my hands constantly, and I do not have time to be cleaning up leaking liquid... nor do I have the time to drip (my preferred method when at home).

I've found the fat wick CE2 510 Metal Cartomizers (I get mine from GoodProphets) with an eGo 1100mah battery works well for me at work. I throw on a drip shield (from EmpireMods) never get leaks. Sometimes, if I have to, I'll use the cone that comes with the eGo, but the drip sheild works better.

I fill about 4 cartos at the begining of the day each with about 0.5 ml of ejuice (have to have at least one Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions and one Caramel Tobacco from BlueMist). The only time I tend to get any leaks is when I overfill.

A pack of 5 carto's cost about $10 and last me a couple of weeks.

510 tank systems, eGo-Ts, clear cartomizers ("clearomizers", G2, G4, etc.), dripping, and even cartridges have all leaked on me and require that I keep paper towels nearby. The metal CE2 cartomizer w/ drip sheild has been the only arrangment that I have found where I do not need to keep a towel within arms reach.

I've heard alot of mixed reviews with TW. I checked them out when I first started vaping but never actually ordered from them. Seems like most of their stuff is just rebranded crap. They are charging alot for lil red devils to be on the product. I'm slowly learning that usually when it comes to e-cigs the more basic it is, the better it actually is.

    in a cave, eh?
Leaking is a feature of Ego-T's in general, regardless of who you're buying from. There are things you can do to minimize the problem, but it's never going to go away completely.

You could still salvage your purchase by buying Boge LR cartomizers or SmokTech dual coil cartomizers to go with your Ego batteries. If you're still willing to keep up with e-cigarettes, you'd be buying replacement atomizers and cartomizers at some point, anyways.

Might I recommend MadVapes as a source for your e-cig accessories? It's always good to know a couple of vendors to get all the stuff you need.

    Does this help?

I agree with others regarding TW.
I don't like tank systems at all, so knowing that now I just use the Battery with a 510 boge carto,
or a LR Atty. I don't use the cartrages or the cone atty's anymore.
So I paid more than I should have for 2- 3V 650mAh batts and a charger.
It's a costly learning experience but worth it if it keeps me off the analogs!!

If you give up on an exchange consider trying this:
    Keep the batteries and chargers....
As a truck driver...you might really like Giantomziers or some sort of jumbo cartomizer that fits the eGo batteries.

Giantomizers have a really easy draw to them...better if you like full lung hits, or short ciggy like puffs that easily go all the way down.

Fill one and vape on it for many hours...hassle free. Fill a couple and your really set for a long haul. Less trouble than filling your coffee thermos, and figure a cost of around 70 cents a day (or less) to operate one (including the juice).

Several months down the road, if you're still vaping...consider getting yourself something like a Darwin (not having to mess with piles of batteries) or possibly a bottom feeder like the REO.

Hi and welcome to the club.. well not a club any of us want to be in I am sure. I purchased the tornado tank from TW and well it wasnt pretty. Two weeks in after the leaking and a couple of calls to TW to find they had better caps they would get in a week or two down the road. So I kept struggling a few days and called them again because i needed something to smoke since both my atty had stopped working. The ones answering the phone were tolerant enough not to be rude. But they offered no help what so ever except to say that I probably did something wrong. They didnt make good on the 30 warranty and didnt even bother to inform me (knowing because I told them I was a total noob). They didnt offer the info that I could get 510 atty and drip .. no help whatsoever and no making good on the two atty that didnt work after just 2 weeks. So while I cant say they were blatently rude or anything dealing with them is about equal to trying to buy this stuff from a cig machine of old. No input no help and just give your money and make due with what you get. Very dissapointing to say the least.
But I have to say I do love dripping lol

Yes, the Ego and the Ego-T use the same batteries. The Boge LR and SmokTech cartomizers are both 510-threaded and will fit just fine on your current batteries without an adapter.

I guess the confusion lies with Totally Wicked renaming your system to the Tornado? You've got Ego batteries with your system.

You might also consider purchasing an Ego cone with your system. It can help wick some of the heat away from your fingers or your pocket. It's not absolutely necessary though.
