...one of the best threads I've ran across yet...

Can anyone recommend a good vanilla vape? One of my biggest struggles has been finding decent juice that lived up to the hype...I know taste is subjective, but would love to hear your suggestions.
John, do you have any suggestions for juice vendors? So far it's been hit or miss finding juices that I like. Boba's Bounty has been my saving grace but I'm ready to branch out and try some new ones....
Quite frankly, I hate the taste of eCigs and cannot come close to the feeling and taste I get with analogs. It almost tastes like I am sucking in burnt plastic with eCigs.
I'm not clear on something. Are you blaming the Joyetech eGo-C Twist (PV/APV/battery/power unit) for the failure of the clearomizer (attachment) that you happened to be using on it? That would be like blaming the car for a flat tire. (?)
Follow-up question: did you ever acquire a single Vivi Nova tank/atty? The Vivi Nova - right out of the box - remains the single best attachment I've ever used.
First I wanna say congrats it sounds like you made the transition. From what I have read it sounds like you had a hard go of it. I too was in the cigarettes taste great camp. I used to look forward to each one and the second hand smell was like being downwind from a steak house. Now I have had one analog since I switched a month and a half ago and to me the taste almost made me wretch. Anyways I wanna say congrats and I really hope you stick with it. It's not an easy road but well worth it.
I gave up analogs about 2 months ago and started out using an Ego Twist nada Vivi Nova tank. The tank more than the battery was what helped me kick cigs completely. They are much easier than cartos IMO and last a long time. It took a few weeks before I was able to put them down so I certainly understand your struggle. You might try checking out the Bamboo in stainless steel at Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail. It's sturdy it their version of the Vamo. For $43 it's money we'll spent.
Mike, mine was a stumble on, happy sappy story, and I hope you can find some use for it. I have been vaping over a year (last November). My job put in a policy prohibiting anyone from smoking on grounds. Started with a Blu tobacco flavored disposable, went on break, vaped only that on break to see if it would do anything for my nicotine craving. Went back into work not wanting to kill anyone, so assumed it worked. But from there, I was done with my Pall Malls. Went on to get a Blu starter pack, the fruity and menthol flavors to get my mind off of smoking. Sold what was left of my Pall Malls to a friend for a cut rate. My mindset is, this is what I have now, be glad it isn't cold turkey. The Blu carts run out too fast for me and the batteries and charging pack are too unreliable. I have a beautiful Volcano Inferno setup with the Tube Tank, pass through battery, and two large batteries. The Tube Tank I have is 4 ml, which lasts a full day, but they make 6ml bombers too. I feel weird vaping this huge peace pipe in public, so I have a Joyetech due to my mailbox any day for my public cig alike. If a name grabs you, Google reviews on it! I was a smoker for 22 years. The only time I quit was when I was pregnant and vomited towards the end of every cigarette. But would go right back when kids were born. Try vaping cold turkey and lose the smokes, lighter, and ashtrays. You will see those benefits immediately!
No the clearo. In one month I have now burnt up 3 of these and had one get a hairline crack somewhere. IOW, they are as durable as an eggshell.
I passed on the Vivi Nova because my research led me to a lot of threads like this one. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/332596-vivi-nova-mini-2-5-burnt-taste-fix.html
I am probably a couple of weeks away from jumping over to the lavaube or a PV. Will see as I am fine with the eGo but honestly am tired of the hassle with the clearos.
Cannot recall ever sensing the taste of "plastic-anything".
Strange, since some flavours are quite good. After about 2 weeks being off t-cigs I found the vape-taste even better.
When I started the vape-thing some weeks ago, I went straight up to pro-rig PVs and found that the voltage settings were crucial factors that make or break the taste. I'm glad I never bothered with starter Kits 'n stuff like that. Voltage too low, ... the taste was too vinegar-like, too high ... like dry funky tasteless steam.
If you are mind-set on getting off the Ts, consider gambling away a hundred and a half and get some high-end device to truly find out. I wagered that right from the start and have no regrets. In fact I mighta been back burning the leaves had I started with some mickey-mouse kit.
