Welcome! Raybone

My best advice to you right now is to stop apologizing to us and start apologizing to your lungs and the best way to do that is to order some batteries, something to put on them, and some juice!

Try these batteries- KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

A few of these Stardusts- EGO Vision clearomizers LR 2.1-2.4ohm

and get yourself some juice and you will be well on your way to quitting.

Glad to see you made it back! Sorry about that! I was afraid it would happen.

The pros and cons on online vs local? Well, the pros of buying from a local store is the hands on help, and they normally let you sample different juices, so you'd be better able to figure out what juices you like. The down side MAY be higher prices for units and such, but I'm not positive as we don't have any local stores close by. Why don't you price what you like online and then go to the store and see what they have price wise? If they have what you want at a better price, buy it there, otherwise buy it online. But as long as you are there, you can sample juices, and maybe go ahead and pick some up for when you do get your device!?

Online usually much cheaper- dealing with an ECF listed vendor means you won't be buying a knockoff BUT there are some reputable Bric and mortar outlets. B&M you can actually try the juices and diff PVs. Always good to get to know your B&M vendor in case of emergency.
You're prolly best starting with 18 or 24 mg nicotine. For a Twist starter kit figure on spending at least $60.00. Prices quoted do not include juice. Figure on about 30? ml per week.

I smoke about 1 pack a day (Marlboro lights) as an average sometimes more sometimes less. So the Kgo is agood one to start with. We have a smoke shop here in town and I want to compare prices online verses what they have available before I buy. What are the pros and cons of online line verses local buying?

I smoked a pack to 1.5 of Camel Wides per day I had that constant little cough for at least a year weezing when I went to bed. Started Vaping in DEC quit cigarettes about a week after I started Vaping. My cough went away I can laugh whit out coughing up a lung! I feel so much better.
So Good for you hang in there. I dont subscribe to the disposable battery type like allot of people Id suggest a Starting with a LavaTube hears a link that enplanes a little Lava Tube new old whats the diffrence? - YouTube, My reasoning is with rechargeable batteries you get more value with disposiables you have to keep buying http://www.thevapebook.com/,http://guidetovaping.com/
Ive also included a couple of links to some other sources of good info.
Loads of good videos and how to on Youtube.
Finally before you make a purchase look at several different vendors and don't forget to look for coupon codes!

That is very good advice and exactly what I thought i would do in the back of my mind any way. So do you still have the same device you first started with or have up graded. If you have upgraded how many times since you started?

I started off with the Blu. That lasted about 2 weeks. At that point I got pretty tired of having to recharge the batteries all the time, but knew that vaping was for me. I upgraded to the eGo 650 mah and then to the 900 mAh batteries. Then about 2 months later, I upgraded to the Provari. The Provari is the end of the road for me. So much so that I've just purchased my second one for back-up.

These bottles of juice is that just flavor or is it nicotine also?

The bottles that vendors sell have various mixtures of PG, VG, nicotine (to your requested strength to a certain extent) and flavoring. When you find a juice you are interested in, they normally have a drop down window. There is where you can choose what nicotine strength you want.

....... So do you still have the same device you first started with or have up graded. If you have upgraded how many times since you started?

That's a loaded question!! Over the course of 2 years I've upgraded, bought something new many times. The technology is changing so fast, most of what I use now wasn't available 2 years ago..

The important considerations starting out is a battery / mod / APV that will hold a charge long enough and provide enough power to satisfy you.

Then you have the delivery system, attys, cartos, tanks, changing everyday, my current favorite is the Vivi-Nova for ease of use, filling, cost and vapor.

Finally there is the juice flavor, and this is tough as everyone has their favorites, AND your tastes will change as your taste buds recover from years of smoking, buy small bottles and experiment..:)

(I just ordered an "upgrade" yesterday, cost about the same as a carton of smokes, but it was my first new APV purchase in about a year so I deserve it!!)
