I've been vaping for about three weeks and have spent $190 dollars on gear not counting consumables. I rolled my own smokes so it didn't even cost me two dollars a pack. I've always been a pretty healthy individual but I could tell smoking was slowly taking it's toll on my lungs and cardiovascular system. Besides, if I add in all the money I spent on cologne, gum, and pop to somewhat cover up the cigarette smell, my former smoking habit was costing me much more than I realized. There are so many new things that catch my eye every time I get online. This is not a money saving hobby for me. But if vaping extends my life for even just a couple of years it's worth it. Even just the fact that I don't smell like smoke, have breath that smells like an ash tray or cough up the morning lung cookies makes the money I invest in vaping, money well spent....

Not sure how much I've spent but I will have a Provari soon. I sit at my desk all day and have a KGO, Ego-T, and and a twist. I go between the three and I have to charge two of them by late afternoon. I like the twist but if I vape around 4.0 I'm charging it constantly.
From what I've seen and read here nothing can touch it the Provari. With what I spend replacing these batteries verses an 18650 maybe the savings will make the purchase pain better. I like a few things about it...great consistent vaping, many safety features(I like that a lot) and, in other peoples words, built like a tank.
Every time I think I've found a 'as good mod' there's always the fine print. Why screw around?
BTW, the ego's and kgo's are great units but if I can scrounge up the cash for the Provari, I doubt that I'll regret it.
