I chain-vape while I chain-mod-hunt

I know I read about chain-vaping when I first discovered this forum a couple of weeks ago. In any case....
Since I have tried quitting a couple of times a year for 35+ years, this go-around I used a 14mg patch and thought I would use an el cheapo ecig for when I got the "crazies". After finding this site and buying some better equipment, I felt that I could get off of the patches in a few weeks while staying on 10-12mg ejuice. This would provide the nic and the psychological satisfaction I needed.

One night a week or so ago, I discovered that I forgot to wear the patch all day and have not used one ever since!

I do tend to chain vape when I am at home and even have/use lower than 12mg nic levels because I enjoy vaping and using the different PVs I have accumulated.

Anyone else tend to chain-vape?

Nothing wrong with "chain vaping". It's the "chain smoking" that everyone here looks to never repeat.

I chain vape when playing my favorite MMOs... and feel pretty good doing it..lol

I don't know if I chain vape. I have it in my hand constantly (that is if I don't put it down and can't find it) but I don't really hit on it constantly. It's just so great to not feel like crap or feel guilty about doing something you knew you shouldn't do but couldn't stop doing. This is just so nice! Smells good, tastes great and doesn't stink up the house or me.

I've smoked for 35+ years also. I tried an e-cig a from my local tobacco shop a couple of years ago, but there was no-joy in it, so I put it away. A year ago I bought a Blu and liked it, but I couldn't get my girl friend to quit with me, so again, I put it away.

Six weeks ago I decided I was going to quit analogs no matter what, so I started using the patch and dug out my old Blu. That combo worked well for a couple of weeks, but the Blu just didn't have the horsepower I wanted and I didn't like using the patch. I dug around on the web and found ECF. This is the greatest community of people and e-cig information ever and I give credit to the ECF community for me finally getting off the analogs.

In the past three weeks I've moved from a Blu to a Lea to a Revolution v2. I let my girl friend try the Lea and she loved it. After 20 years of smoking, she has finally quite analogs too.

Now I chain-vape and I don't care. I can do it and not worry about not being able to breathe. I find that I'm getting more work done at the office and I'm sleeping better because I can breathe when I lay down to sleep. I've been telling and showing all of my smoking friends my e-cig and the ECF website. I'm helping them convert to a life without analogs.

I've also been on the mod hunt. There are so many great designs it's hard to decide which one to try first and I guess that's why a lot of people have such a collection of e-cigs. I like the idea of making my own mod. There's just something satisfying about saying "I made this".

Sorry for the long post. It's my first, and I hope not the last. Thank you to everybody that make up the ECF community for providing people like me a place to learn, hang out, share, and LIVE....without analogs.

I too chain vape. The funny thing is, I don't need to. When i smoked and was in an environment that I couldn't light up for a few hours, I would be climbing the walls. If I'm now in the same situation,as a vaper I'm fine. I have no problem going a few hours without a Vape.

Chain vaping is fine. Most new members and some older members still chain vape. I don't, but I seem to almost always have a PV in my hand whether I'm vaping on it, or not.......LOL.......but however you vape, if you still have cravings for an analog, you need to up your nic level. Older members who are chain vaping are probably vaping just because they like it so much, but are usually vaping on a lower nic content.

Andy, maybe you should tell the new members how much money you saved on mods by starting at the top, and skipping the intermediate steps. A lot of Provari users also save money by sticking to single coil cartos because they don't need the more expensive cartos to get the vape they like. They just change the voltage. Also they can usually change the voltage for the eliquids they bought and then didn't like to get an acceptable vape. I do honestly believe that the way to vape most cost effectively is by buying a TOL VV or VW mod in the beginning.
