...V4L has started slacking on their shipping...I have read a lot of that lately but every order I had before was fast and prompt, so I didn't believe what others have said recently. When they send you that email saying the item has been shipped, then it was shipped that day or the next day, use to be that way at least. Well now they sent me that email this time but it seems like the package didn't leave V4L till 6 days after they made the slip (not including Sunday). No offense but I would rather not get a tracking # and then the item ship out 6 days after, printing a slip and actually shipping an order out is two different things!

What is up with beginning to start with the slack of the slacking?

Now it will be like 12 days total before I get my package, use to be like 4 total a few months back...

Bah it's fine, it is the first time they have done this to me, every other time it was like 4-5 days total from order date. So wasn't really ranting per say just kind of wondering if some thing is up at V4L making some orders late on ship outs, since I have seen a few threads recently about it. BUT, since you got yours so fast I guess I just got some bad luck this go around. Thanks for the reply Jeff! (BTW your son has a bigger smile then you! - lol)

It's probably a fluke. I've received so many orders in as little as 3 days. (normally all of them, unless one of the shipping days fall on a weekend) And I'm in california.

I wouldn't be going too far out on a limb here in saying you might want to point the finger at the USPS. Juss sayin'. They have completely missrouted my order and I have no idea where it's at!

No it wasn't USPS, a packing slip or whatever was made on the 15th and the package left V4L today the 21st, at least that is what the tracking shows, I know tracking can be delayed online but the day it is scanned is the day it's scanned, now they might finally post that information a week later online but it will show the day of the scan originally. But I do understand why you would say that, because most of the time USPS is to blame!

When you do get your package, check the front of it for when it was actually picked up by the post office. It should be stamped with the date of pickup. The packing slip is printed on the day it was packed and shipped, if I remember correctly. The "tracking" number (actually confirmation number) sometimes doesn't show the correct pickup date depending on how lazy USPS is being.

If you do find out that V4L did what they were supposed to do, you should probably change the title of this thread to reflect that. For an online business, threads like these really hurt their reputation while directly effects sales growth and customer base.

Not really since the title doesn't really imply anything really bad, and if you read all the post, even the first one it says this is the first time, the reason for the post was not a rant but was asked if there was a reason, like all the transitions they have been doing on CS and all. But I do get what you are saying, and when I get the package it will be updated in the thread! But really my question was answered by Jeff when he said he ordered about the same time and got his package already!

Also I would never purposely try to hurt V4L, they have the best CS and fix all issues, they keep a majority of products in stock (unlike other vendors), they have a huge array of juice/batts, and everything else!

Sorry to hear you've had problems but it's not true for me. I've never had a problem with any of my V4L orders (knock on wood). The order I placed last week on 15 September arrived on 17 September. Love that WOW Peppermint. Kudos V4L!

Does anyone remember when anything ordered used to take a minimum 4-6 weeks to receive? No eazy interwebz.....only phone/mailed-in catalog orders. I do and it was pretty awful. A week is nothing in the grand scheme.

Plan your orders ahead of time so you don't run out of stuffS and be patient waiting for new goodies that you don't "have to have" right this instant. We all want to have our gear NOW, but,,,spit happens.

Xanax, I am sorry to hear that, but like I said I have ordered before and a lot from V4L and this was the first time, I just wanted to know if there was a reason. But since like 5 other people ordered around the same time and posted they have already got their package then I do believe it was just bad luck for my package. You should try V4L at least once more, every other package from them I received within 3-4 days of order date (not ship date, but order date!)
