I plan on doing a more technical video (ie wire gauges to use and types of epoxy resin blah blah) for those interested. In a decade of being an electrical mechanical service tech I've learned to curb my overall nerdinessif possible hahah

Please do!! :D

I have a mini on the way and would much prefer it to have an 18650. Nice job

A few points for you to consider for your safety, the LiPo cells were installed in this mod for their high drain - high amperage specifications.

You did not mention exactly what 18650 you are using, but if it's 3100 mah, it sounds like an ICR low drain model, not even a very good choice for a Vamo.

Lastly the charging circuitry in your mod is designed to charge a LiPo cell not a standard 18650 cell, the amperage may be too much to safely charge the battery in the mod, or use it as a pass-through.

Yeah, very good points , unless you know what your doing i wouldn't mess with it .

My mind is blown now, so i would have to buy a $300 Hana DNA30, if i can even find one to buy, Ebay has them for $600, but even so say I get my $300 Hana mod, so I bust it open and start going to town ripping out batteries and wires, then I fire up a Dermal OMG and start wacking at the box to fit a 18650. OK mind blown!!!!!!! Just the size of your balls sir, Bravo Bravo! LOVE IT!

No modding will blow my mind , what blows my mind is someone asking $600.00 for a Hana , even $300.00 is nuts to me lol. Vaporshark's for under two bills sounds about right for an authentic.

hey knot1 just get one of the new 40 watt evolve chips they all look to be built on the same basic boards and it should fit in the DNA 20 enclosure with an 18650 battery powering it.
thanks foggy
thats pretty much what Im planning, ordered the dna40 and the enclosure ... but this is a 68.5mm box and I just would feel better if I saw evidence that someone was able to fit a 18650 in it by dremel or some other means ... Id love to see pics and find out how they did it...what tools and such ... I just dont think anything less than 18650 will do the dna40 justice
