A heavier build coil retains heat more so the tank actually warms up a bit as you are vaping. Just keep the thing in a warm place when you are not vaping.

If it is -10 outside then surely you are wearing a coat, keep it in the inside pocket so your body heat keeps it from freezing. Pull it out, vape and put it back. Also as others have said higher PG concentrations will also help.

Yeah, the AZ desert is great ... if you don't count the risk of stepping on a rattlesnake wherever you go...scorpions and black widow spiders clinging to every dark corner of the house and in your bed, and the intense searing heat melting your face off like Nazi in the Raiders of the Lost Ark May through October.

I may hate winter but i absolutely love fall and spring seasons most perfect weather to be outside most of the time

Winter is my least favorite season. Not because it is cold (no where near as cold here as it is up there) but because everything looks so desolate and dead. The thing is, one has to endure winter to be blessed with the glory of Spring.

When I was a child the ponds around here would freeze hard enough to allow us to skate on them. fast forward 60 years and the ponds occasionally get a tiny bit of ice around the edges. Temps seldom get below the freezing mark and then seldom get up to 90 in the hottest part of Summer. I remember summer days being well over 100, days and days at a time. Fortunately those days are no more, for now (one never knows what Mother Nature will throw at us next). I'll take it and consider myself blessed to live where I do

In the 90's when i was younger i remember the days to be chilly but not too cold and so, we'd pass the entire day out making snow forts and stuff in the snow, boy was that fun !

These days it's pretty much the opposite, barely any snow and cold enough to freeze your toes off waiting for the bus lolz. My most hated thing about winter though is mainly the reflection of the sun on fresh snow,it burns my eyes so that's why i bought polarized sunglasses (prescription type glasses) otherwise i'd go blind in the winter

You are right about the desolate and dead. I love winter when we get a good snow, but here in Chicago we rarely get the white winters of my youth any more. From Mid January till the end of April it's just grey. It's like living in black and white dystopian student film. Then one day you take the Skyway through Gary Indiana and you realize how good you have it compared to people living in Gary Indiana which, even in the brightest sunlight, looks like a scene from the Walking Dead.

Winters here are delightful.... in spring you get to watch all the cacti bloom, which isn't as fantastic as it sounds. I think me and the family need a trip up to Mt. Lemnon soon so that we can see some pine trees (man, I was out shopping today and they are putting Christmas trees out ALREADY, those are going to be some wilted trees, man. It got close to 90 degrees here yesterday.

We had a Christmas Cactus for the longest time... .It's planted in our old yard

I hate mother nature for many venomous creatures, but I gotta love her too.... After all, she is the Mistress in Charge, regardless of what anyone thinks or does not think about climate change.

Also, I walked back into my home and it smells like something's on fire, but I can't find anything... I wonder if I should be worried, LOL.

Some of this I liked and some I agree with but that last sentence sounds serious. I think I would be worried and would be trying to find the source of the smell.

I agree that Mother Nature is in control and right now she is just going through some of the same things she has gone through so many times before. I think humans are pretty arrogant thinking they can control what She has always been in control of. I agree we have not always been the best guardians of our home planet but to think we can change what she has decided to do is giving ourselves way too much credit.

I know right? I have the back door open, the fan on, and it's still not going away.... ?? It's definitely inside the HOUSE, not outdoors, so I'm somewhat confused about it. It smells like wood smoke, but I can't find anything smoldering and I don't SEE any visible smoke, so I'm not freaking out about it.... I'd call the husband, but then he'd freak. It can't be anything large (yet) and I would wonder if the husband saged the house in the middle of the night, but that's not the kind of smell it IS.

If we had a second house fire before finishing our first claim.... Surely that's not possible, but I can't find ANYTHING. I don't think I will summon the fireman or even the husband to my aid, quite yet, but it is confusing me greatly... It's odd. I might do another quick check in the most obvious places.... To make matters awesomer, apparently this type of home just goes up in smoke quite fast.

Could it possibly be coming from what you are vaping right now. I know I've read that some flavorings smell like something coming out of the south end of a cat .....maybe you are vaping something that smells like wood smoke?

Nope. I just texted the husband, perhaps he will reassure me by telling me he smoked a cig in the bathroom or something.... It's not getting any worse, and it looks super rainy out so I can't see smoke coming from anywhere else. And wow, the husband just informed me he saged the house last night, LOL. It doesn't smell sag-y at all to me, last time he ran it through the airvents and it was HORRID. Hmmn.... kinda makes me want to set some sage on fire and see what it smells like to a non-smoker,

You have to plan the vape breaks. Warm it up prior, then you can vape. I used to do this with 90% VG (hence the name), but I use 50/50 now. I also decided to pass on working when it's that cold, no one else works either.

I've also removed the tank and kept it warm in my pocket. It all works.

Also @stols001 , I've been in Tuscon, AZ in winter, and it does get cold there. It was below freezing and all the bridges were iced up.

I remember snow a few years ago, but it was pretty paltry. Sure, it gets cold occasionally, but not cold like Minnesota or Canada though, there's no comparison.

Can't lie i do it in the bus more often that i should, thing is if i get caught i can get a ticket as it's illegal to vape in public spaces (such as buses,and inside anywhere except my own home.) I'm just lucky vapor smells sweet (or so i've been told) so should be fine there

It doesn't get very cold very often here, but when it does, it's miserable. Cold air is not supposed to hold humidity. But when that north wind comes roaring down the bay...

I can be standing in the middle of my entire wardrobe and still be chilled to the bone.

From Alabama? I know it can cool off, but that's a pretty sultry place. Heck in winter, I'm quite happy to bail out of town just so the low temps stay above 20F. Was 19F this morning here in West Central Nevada. It will start to hit 0F, then -10F pretty soon. The record low is -45F. Brrr, and I still vape.
