No the blue is really nice. The logo is less obvious than the black. I just thought it might look nice wrapped in black carbon

THIS is why I spend so much time reading here. I've seen my share of tiffs, but for the most part, this is the most amazing group of people on a forum. I've seen someone give another person a mod because theirs broke and they couldn't afford another one for two weeks, I've seen juice being given away. I've given, I've taken.
Sigh. Okay, I'm feeling sappy, but this thread just kind of warmed my heart this afternoon. Maybe because I've been dealing with showing (gently) a few clients the door and sometimes... well, sometimes, humankind is not kind.

Hope you get it working OP!This is troubling news as I have an MVP coming in the mail right now, but I have faith in the company. And I have an assortment of atty's and cartos to test in case mine is DOA....
Some guy said they were amp limited under load (that vid that blondie posted a link to) but...IDK what battery he used either. Does it have a swappable battery at all? Or no?

Don't worry - we think it's the clearomiser. I truly can't fault my MVP and it's used daily for work. I bet it works like a dream as soon as the atty is changed over.
The heck with dressing it up - how do we get this poor guy's appliance to work? I'm sure the gf will help. If she needs any tips then this forum is famous for being friendly.
not sure about the amp limiting, but the battery is stuck in there pretty good. its a flat li-ion battery that's soldered in there....
That's pretty much what I've heard from everyone. I'm in love with the box mods and this is going to be the first I've owned. Maybe its the guitar player in me and the love I have for stomp boxes...
