Somewhere out there
I'm not absolutely certain so don't quote me on this, but I think a 1.5 ohm dual coil amounts to the same resistance as a single coil 3 ohm so it would be a good substitute.

Thanks for the link!

Not really the same at all. If you're used to 3 ohm, going to 1.5 dual is quite a jump.

I only use flanged, as well in my IBTanks. I have tried a lot of others, but the Smok flanged are what I have decided is best for me. I buy lots of them from IBTanked every now and then; gives me an excuse to buy another tank or 2 also...
I'm glad I'm not alone. :D

I was thinking she meant something different. Dual coil 1.5 would be 2 - 3 ohm coils. But yes, performance would be vastly different.

I agree cartos in general seem to be harder to find. Many stores I've been to that are still new tell me such things as "we've been open 2 months and you are the first to ask about those things" referring to pre-punched cartos.

I'm not sure I meant something different or not. I could have just been misinformed.

I also find it ironic that my statement "don't quote me on this" has been quoted repeatedly on this thread...LOL

I thought about that even as I was quoting you. Had to do it to get my meaning out I guess.

I'm starting to realize I'm a stick in the mud, but it's getting annoying when people tell me my IBtanks and cartos are "archaic and dead" technology. No, they're not. They're still around because they work.
Then you can only imagine what people think of me dripping on my 510 atomizers.

By the way, has anyone else noticed some of the newer bottom coil heads (kanger and aspire) seem almost designed after punched cartos? I have yet to put them to the test to see if they can hold up in hot weather, which is why I went to them over bottom coil designs. Evods were nice but flooded in heat so I found out carto-tanks are better for flavor as well as in the heat.

YES! ^^^THIS!

The bottom coils are fine and dandy unless you pull too hard or get accidentally leave them in the car for 5 minutes. At that point you're slurping rather than vaping and it's annoying, not to mention those clearos tend to leak.

I have yet to have a cartotank leak from not sitting upright.

If you get desperate/run low before you can find a supply of standard, flanged, 3ohms -

you could get some XL to tide you over - they still work in a standard tank - a drip tip like ibtanked's tank
tool drip tips would work & and they have some that have a recess to allow space for carto that might stick up a bit.
https://www.ibtanked.com/accessories/drip-tips/ibtipsy

I reorder when I get down to one box left. :)
