I have decided after reading articles and so called proof about vaping, that I just don't care. I have seen spin on the subject and let's be fair and honest, from both sides. I don't see vaping as safe nor do I view it as a cessation device. I for myself see it as another method to get nicotine, but with more options.

I can change flavors, not smell like smoke and get as much or as little nicotine as I want without or less waste at least. I know that I'm am taking in less chemicals and having less side effects. I feel better and have a better outlook on life because of it.

In the long term who knows what vaping may cause, I know what continued smoking will do and I would still smoke now if not for vaping. This to me points that in the very least I am no worse for wear. I haven't saved any money as I am a hobbyist but in a way I have. I no longer throw out half smoked cigarettes or smoke one all the way down, even when I really don't want to just because I don't want to waste money.

I'm just so tired of the pundits view and the arguments of pro and con. I have just settled into that cozy little gray area of no worse no better, now leave me alone. I have begun to view the vaping argument as that of global warming, I mean climate change. Since the argument has to change names to keep people correct.

Pro vape is like pro life, people will stand on each side of the debate with a minimal few that will ever waver. The less informed or mass media informed will always believe what they see and hear on TV and the radio. I have learned you cannot teach the uninterested, people vote and choose a position based on the person telling them what to think. If they like the speaker they like the view if they hate the speaker they hate the view and no proof can change them, either way.

That's it exactly, being an adult making a decision and living with it. We all know the risks of anything we do and should just acknowledge and live with it. The only time I have an issue, is with liars, people using bad ingredients or making things with faulty hardware. Basically greedy persons taking advantage of people, be it vape, food, cars, etc.

I won't say that I don't care - I mean, I'm not about to vape hydrofluoric acid - but I'm also satisfied that what I am doing NOW is better for me than what I'd been doing for three decades of my life.

society always needs a "witch hunt" of some type... this session is vaping...

Not to pick nits, "society" really doesn't need witch hunts, but leaders looking for control, power, and money certainly do!

I can't speak for anyone else, only for myself, so here goes oxygen level up, tanks and at home oxygen machine gone, lung capacity increased, snoring done, sleep apnea gone, and the biggest plus I am able to play with that little angel I. My arms longer. It may years from now show that vaping was as bad as smoking or that it was a great savior, don't know. I do know that I'm not going to stop vaping it's not a new addiction but a hobby now I have cut the nicotine out and now only vape the flavor, it's fun to me not a chore not the albatross so to say. Once again it's your choice to feel the way you do and it's mine to feel they way I do, I know what vaping has done for me and will scream from the rooftops that vaping saved my life, and will defend it against all naysayers.

What we do is so many lightyears from smoking cigarettes. What I know, is I need nicotine especially with my so called affliction. I just am so happy I have this choice. Not only do I get my nicotine, but I enjoy the delivery of it and I feel so much better than when I smoked cigarettes. And yes, I used to chainsmoke the .... out of those. This I enjoy, and I feel so much healthier. And gasp! I do diketones. Oh the horror!

I told a doctor once that I was vaping low nicotine an had quit smoking a year ago. He asked since I was about to undergo back surgery and nicotine (probably along with the other thousands of chemicals in cigarettes) affects your bloodflow, etc... And I told him I could use 0 nic for a week or so before surgery. He didn't down vaping like a lot of Drs, but compared it as follows: smoking is like sticking yourself with a something pencil sized in the leg everyday vs. vaping is like sticking yourself with a toothpick in the leg everyday. You are still doing continuous damage, just less of it. I know I will continue vaping and never smoke again. I feel better, can smell things, don't stink like an ashtray, and taste things better than I have in 23 years. So I will accept any consequences vaping has later, rather than feel terrible all the time like I did as a smoker.

That's my philosophy for life in general: I just don't care. Keeps my stress level down. :D
And I want to be you when I finally grow up. Wait-------I was you before the latest garbage science came to light. I think I will go back to being that person
