I agree with madqatter. Sometimes these PVs are not the most accurate and you could damage the PV. Chances are down the road you'll have some sort of electric/ electronic issues with a battery, PV, clearo, carto, atty, etc....have seen so many threads here where the user is guessing at what the issue might be when a multi tester would identify the problem immediately. Look for sales- last yr bought 5 X $40.00 multi testers for $10 each= Christmas presents. Can also be used around the home. Although I use it all the time on my cars, stereo, PC, etc for vapers it a must have IMO.

Ahh, I didn't see your multimeter post until now, didn't realise I could use one of those, already got one.

Multimeter reads 2.8ohms on an Evod, iTaste reads 2.7

Cool. Prolly one the most common first time problems is wrapping the coil too tight around the wick= poor wicking. What kind of wick- cotton, bamboo, silica, Ekowool?

That was on a standard Evod coil.

I just tried to make my first coil and it was a complete failure!

6 wraps, 0.2 kanthal (32 gauge ), 2mm ekowool.

1.2 ohms on the multimeter. 0.6ohms on the itaste. Played with the coil, moving them about. Now it's around 0 apparently. lol

arghh...just tried again...7 wraps. 0.6ohms apparently.

hmmm I just measured the wire and it's 30 gauage, 0.25mm

Tried 5 times now. 6, 7 and 8 wraps. No coils touching that I can see. Getting 0 resistance on my Itaste.

Any ideas??

Finally...managed to get one stable at 1.6ohms. I think the coils were touching the sides of the head before.

Once you think you're ready, you will never regret the day you upgrade. Now I use a Nemesis and a Kayfun 3.1. Nothing hits harder in my opinion. And I have tried them all. I have friends that work (and for the most part hangout) at the two biggest smoke shops here in Phoenix. I keep multiple Batteries ready to go and even turned a Nintendo DS carrying kit into my own personal kit bag. This is an addiction. But better than being addicted to cigarettes.
