It's 8 pm Frdiay night and what am I doing? Testing clear tank carts from BreezeSmokes of course.

First, my only, minor complaint and it's user error: These carts come in whistle tip and I do not like whistle tip, but failed to notice on pictures before ordering (duh). With a whistle tip and manual battery, the button doesn't always line up and leaves button at odd angles with the tip orientation, so I prefer round tip.

Now the good stuff:

It works, holds twice as much as a stock cartridge, about 24 - 26 drops, 1 ml plus. No leaks, but are on my standard Joye and EM attys very tight since they're new. Getting the filler cup off is a little tricky, but is a pinch with tweezers (pun).

I am using white stock fillers that came with, will try blue foam later. So far, there seems no need to change filler as juice is wicking well. I've tried PG & 50/50 juice, will try all VG juice later.

Very nice to see inside during fill up, less spills, and how much juice remains as mentioned.

The flavor seems fuller, more so than with stock cart with blue foam, may be using more juice, TBD.

So far not too much condensation problem, but I did remove the cap at the mouthpiece end, left air chamber completely empty, no filler. Doesn't bother me.

Removing the plastic cap at mouthpiece end has added benefit - it was just short enough to fit in the standard 510 PCC, can't do with the cap on.

They're nearly perfect! I will update as I switch over to them completely and get more mileage. :)

Good stuff so far. It is late here... and I will be heading off, but I look forward to hearing more of your experience with these.
I will re read your post in the morning with fresh eyes.
I dont mind the whistle tips being "askew"... My wife only likes the whistle tips and is a fanatic that they be lined up with the button... so I can relate.
Thanks for a thorough introduction!

I'm off to work, will write more later, but regarding the whistle tip. yes they can be a pain to line up (I also like them lined up with the button). I got used to it and am now pretty good about getting them lined up. when visiting my niece who is a new vaporor I noticed she and her husband both put the button on the bottom...or underneath, however you look at it...they use their thumb to push the button - when you hold your device that way, the whistle tip is a little more forgiving if you don't line it up great. did that make sense? also, which version are you using? did you get both versions? I am testing version 3 right now and I think the fluff cup is harder to get off than it is on version 1. more later

That was just first impression. I'll keep testing/adjusting with fresh eyes too today. Whistle tip is not a big problem. The atty end of carts being rectangular, I tend to insert into atty with atty bridge perpendicular to length of rectangle, reason being I like having the wicks that stick out of bridge line up with rectangle. Can you picture? I imagined it wicked better, only imagined.

No, did not try version 3, bought all version 1s. I think v3's "clip on cup" gave me pause, had too many plastic clips broken off from life's gadgets. I suppose if I wanted bigger holes, could tool v1 carefully. Either Vitolo or goodtimes did just that.

Yes, thumbing button makes sense. Using the Riva, the button is usually on the bottom when I hold it, not so particular with the mini 510. It just feels more comfortable to me.

I think the trick of lining up whistle tip is to attach atty to batt first, then insert cart. I'll just give up trying to line up wick to cart mentioned above.

Thank you both. I'm enjoying them, not much of learning curve, which I like! It's like that Miller Lite commercial - less (re)filling, tastes great! :thumb:

I have given up on the clip on top with the one hole instead of polyfill. When one leans back (even when standing if one holds unit like a cigar but "upwards") I call this "Grouchoing"... Vaping like Grouch Marks smoked his cigar...This causes a juice pause, in the feed.
For those that do like them, I hear it saves juice.. but I gave up. I now am reverting to the original type of whistle tip with the polyfill cap (in image to left).
Rather than rectangular, it is a bit more than a half circle in shape.
I have not gotten blue foam yet... waiting to hear from YOU!
I will be removing the polyfill from the ones I use now and trying them out with home made plugs from the ordered poly when it arrives.
I will watch for more on the blue foam.

Morning, Vitolo!

When one leans back, juice will stop wicking after a few puffs even with filler. Gravity working against us. Now, Groucho is easy to imitate, they sell ready made glass/nose/mustache mask. :D

I'm having such a good time vaping with clear carts, I haven't got to foam yet. Spent 1 minute this morning filling enough clear carts to last a whole day, using stock filler. This is easier. But I will try foam just to satisfy your curiosity.

Note: not all stock filler is the same. I find some carts came with very little fill while others were stuffed tight. Logic says if too much fill is crammed into cup, juice may not flow as well. See if you notice the same.

I'll be back with foam report. :)

Ta da! Tried blue foam, not much difference.......the big let down.

I cut one piece to fit so far, can't tell difference since I've used loose and tight filler carts already. Foam does not squish as easy though. This could take a while to experiment.

I think what you observe, Vit, is just different parts of the same material being cut up and stuffed into cart during manufacturing. There is a fine line between too little and too much white filler. Too little and juice runs, too much and juice flow slows. I find even air flow gets stuffier on the one cart with too much filler. It was solid, so I removed half of it.

I noticed a little bit of glue on the bottom of the filler to make it stick to cup, don't care for it.

Also some cups fit better than others. One loose one seems to leak a little juice, even stayed in atty when I pulled cart out.

It is confirmed, these clear carts use more juice, increased flow caused by more juice weight behind the filler if nothing else. As more juice is fed, there is more flavor, a lot of flavor.

yes, put the atty on battery first :) I think each vendor calls these whatever version they want. the ones I already had were bought from clouds of vapor (he closed them out). he called them version 2, but they have the cup without the outside clip...which is the same as breezesmokes version 1.

now, breezesmokes sent me versions 1,2,3,4. (I talked to him on the phone) versions 2 and 3 seem the same though - they have 1 hole and a fluff shelf instead of a cup. I have to use tweezers to get the shelf out to fill. I am using one now and they are ok. version 1 is the one I like, 2 holes, bigger cup. version 4 has the cup with a clip on the outside...I find it a little difficult to get out. has 2 holes.

justa..... I think you said you have to use tweezers to get the cup out? I just use a fingernail and pull up on the straight side...it comes up so I can get it off.

hey justa and vitolo...since breezesmokes seems to have sent me 3 of the carts with a fluff shelf and 1 hole, I would be happy to send you each one if you want to try them for comparison.

Yeah, you don't want to twist the cart while on atty, messy, so cart has to be last thing to assemble to get the tip right.

4 versions? Great! I like these v1s and won't even venture more. Like I said, plastic clips have broken all through my life. :D

Yes, even with v1, some cups are so tight, fingernails don't do it. I almost need needle nose pliers! Tweezers could barely work. Meanwhile, some are quite loose and comes right out by hand. They're not all the same!

Thanks, cags. Our posts got crossed. I'm fine with v1s...for a long time. They're grrrrrreat...says Tony the Tiger.

If you guys want to try blue foam, I can send some, got a box full precut for 510 carts. But I had to cut a piece further down to fit the clear tanks. PM me your address if you're interested.

edit: btw, an added benefit of these instead of cartos is you can use all kinds of atty ohm ratings as long as batt works with them.

ugh. I haven't seen glue yet, I will not love that either! I've noticed that some of mine fit different attys differently.... so when I get one that isn't fitting the atty I am using I set it aside and try it on different attys. sometimes the cart fluff seems dry so I get a paperclip, pull the fluff up a little and tip the cart til the fluff is wet again. and sometimes the same cart will flood my atty. I blot some of the liquid off the fluff and push the fluff down some. then I use a drip tip to vape until the atty is dry enough :) If my carts are in the flooding mood, I store them or put them down with the led end up. do you have better ideas? I usually feel I am just stumbling around in the dark with this ecig stuff LOL

Well, they are made of plastic, can expand with heat, not exactly precision instruments, but fine with me.

I squeeze the filler with paperclip or juice dropper a few times while holding cart with filler end down to get it flowing. Or, drip a couple drops on top like Vit does, but you'd still have to work it in.

My vaping is strictly gravity driven! When I feel the atty starts to flood, I tilt the e-cig batt end up to STOP feeding juice. When it feels dry, I tilt it batt end down to feed more juice. And if it does get completely flooded, I take the cart off and "tailpipe", puff on atty without drip tip (I do have one, too lazy to get out). 4 or 5 puffs and atty's back to normal. :D

edit: You can also increase or decrease amount of filler in cup to regular that cart's flow the next time you refill.

edit 2: Hey, I'm "exploring" in the dark too!

Yes. They carry both types now, and both bear the Jessy brand name, but they have generics of the pollyfill cap ones also.
I have seen no glue.. the fill comes out easily. There are two holes under the fill in both types.
I am about to get a couple peices of that other polyfill material. I will extend the same offer to you guys that have been so sharing. Leave Your mailing address in a private , and I will do the same.
