but the dumb retailers are BEYOND dumb, by that I mean those retailing e cigs of all varieties. After hitting three places (mostly smoke shops/liquor stores) for some real time touchy feely introductions to these things, I was amazed at how LITTLE any of them knew, and how SURELY they spoke when I knew they were wrong. Just browsing this site gave me more info than any of them, I feel this is to their loss of course, as it naturally drives people like me back to the net for real info. Sorry, I just don't get how someone can have an entire shelf in their tobacco store dedicated to e-cigs and not know a damn thing about them, or the juices, or their strengths, etc etc. End ..... session.
Anyways thanks for this website, married dad of three, 42 y.o. smoke since 12 y.o., currently and long time at 1.5 PD Marlboro UL menthols, as I joke with the guys at liquor store, "hell at least they're ultra lights!" lol.
So the first place had some cheap knock off looking garbage e-health or something, second place had disposables only, third place had a full ensemble, so I got the vapcigs box and some mint liquid (16 mg), and just for kicks, tossed a disposable square-D menthol in for comparison purposes. Total investment: 53 dollars.
Went next door bought lotto scratcher ticket, won fifty dollars. Days looking up already!
Honestly, I HATE smoking in front of my kids, even though it's on the porch. I try to level with them though, and I'd really like to set an example by quitting analogs (prior to this site, I would never say "analog" for ciggies lol).
So I opened up the square D, figured I wouldn't like it, and I didn't, it was like pulling smoke through a solid piece of wood. Okay scratch that, what a waste, but a nice green light anyways.
Plugged in the vapcigs, waited for full charge, removed and assembled and puffed away, wow, sure glad the lotto payed for that, as it is about same as sucking thru open straw, little vapor, no throat hit, flavor sucked. It was like having a regular cig with big holes punched in the filter.
Took another look at the square D, realized that dumb newbie here hadn't seen there's a stinking PLUG on the end of the filter, removed plug, and was THRILLED with the experience, excellent hit, plenty of vapor, drew really well. Night and day compared to the vapcigs, and for 8 bucks a heck a lot cheaper.
That concludes the sum total of everything I know about vaping. The square D will keep me happy for awhile, but I'd like to move on to something more permanent plus I have a bottle of 16 mg mint sitting here taking up desk space. Haven't the foggiest where to proceed from here, I see a lot of refs to the Joyce? stuff, but for now at least I can begin integrating the square d into my nicotine addict regime, as my two carton stock/two week stock up day was today, I only got one carton and will see if I can make it last for two weeks by vaping.
If the tobacco lobby doesn't like it, they can get on board and make their own ecigs. What a stupid dumb disgusting stinky smelly moronic habit I pay 6 bucks a day for. I cannot take back the past 30 years, but perhaps I can get the next 30 under MY control and not THEIRS.
