I need help. Please! I'm in the UK and don't have a clue what to buy.

I wonder if anyone can help me.
My boyfriend smokes about 60 Club King Size a day and for the first time since I've known him, he says he wants to cut down and hopefully stop.
He wants to try an e cigarette and I want to buy him a kit.
I started researching them but i'm at a total loss on what to buy.
I naively thought it was a matter of typing e cigarette into google and buying it.
I'm based in the UK and would be extremely grateful if anyone could recommend the best kit.

Hi riva 510 from liberty flight uk get the lite kit and some boge cartomisers, and dont forget some e-liquid, if he is a heavy smoker 24mg will suit till he works out where he wants to be, hope this helps, i have a riva myself plus other bits as well but this will let him get into vaping

for £30 you can get him an "X Power 900" on amazon.

Battery lasts over 24 hours. Gives an excellent throat hit. Loads of "smoke"/vapour.

He will be very happy with it.

Looks not a lot like a cigarette but it performs.

Don't get an 'off brand' that he'll have difficulty finding parts for it. I don't know who sells to the UK with the exception of Liberty Flights. There are probably many more. But they carry the Joye brand and Riva brand that are easy to get parts and accessories for.

Hey Jackie - I agree with Del Boy (above post) that you can't go wrong with a XPower900 for a heavy-duty smoker like your boyfriend. Even better if you can get a pack of pre-filled 'Cartomizers' and this way you are not baffling him with 'dripping techniques' etc.
2 XPower Cartomizers of 'high strength nicotine' is going last him (id guess) a full day and that is still a helluva lot cheaper than he is paying now for cigs!!

Anyways, your question is UK specific and I want to recommend Scott Bonner on Youtube aka igetcha69 YouTube - igetcha69's Channel
Not only does he give some of the best reviews I've ever seen - he has specific links and references to UK (or available in the UK) distributors and best values etc.

Eyebrook mentions something important - be SURE, no matter what brand or style of e-cig, be sure that it comes with genuine nicotine-juice. Yes, 24mg for a heavy nic-addict like him.

*too often smokers get a kit and (unaware) non-nicotine or low-nicotine juice and not surprisingly they lose interest and find it unsatisfying. So be sure you get something with actual nicotine.

Cheers Jackie. If he is gonna get an e cig he is gonna have every chance of quitting smoking. I think he's gonna be amazed. I will be interested to hear what he thinks.

Take it from me. Every single vaper/e cigger on here will be hoping he does it. Tell him that too. It's an awful habit (smoking). And it is soooooo hard to break free from. He will need a high nicotine content liquid or cartridge. Just for the first couple of weeks.
He can vape like mad to get through any cravings. Once your through the first couple of weeks it settles into a pattern and killer cigarettes are already becoming a distant memory.

First off your boyfriend has made a wise choice in quiting and getting an ecig will definitely allow him to do so. Secondly, look at the forum suppliers forum as it has the names of tons stores to choose from. Next, you should ask him what his primary criteria is for his ecig. In other words what does he need from his ecig long battery life, realistic look or realistic feel? Also check out youtube, there are lots of people giving lots of reviews about all the various makes and models and is a great source of information. once you've done all this, shop around to find the best price for what will meet his needs best.
