I need SEVERE help with my setup.

Hey everyone, yes I'm still new to vaping, but I have spent weeks doing research and whatnot, watching rip trippers, forums, etc.

At this point I need help with getting huge clouds from my setup, I'll list what I have now:

sigelei 100w plus
Little Boy rda
2 35A Efest 18650's
Japanese cotton
26g kanthal
Also using juices that are 80vg

I get okay clouds on my .50 ohm dual micro. But they're just okay. I'm looking for something warm, impressive and satisfying
I get a warm vape around 60 watts or more.

Was wondering if you guys can tell me any decent builds I could try to get the best clouds safely possible with what I got. Whether single coil, dual, higher ohms or lower. Anything that will show true performance. Thanks a lot!

It can be a bit tricky and might take some practice, but you might try a dual parallel build. I've only used 28g for mine, which I wrapped 4 times on a 2mm screwdriver to get about 0.3 ohms. You might try the 26g on a larger diameter rod, or maybe go for 5 wraps. It's a fantastic vape; very warm and satisfying. I strongly recommend using a very high or max VG juice. There are several good tutorials on youtube for the parallel build.

HI BigCheef I can't help you much, I use an RDA but I mostly use a Delta II on a IVP 70watt with factory coils and I get weather storms in my living room so I am not sure what you are doing wrong in your post. But I did want to welcome you to the ECF and good luck and happy

I have tried a dual parallel build, it wouldn't set right and the ohms kept going out of wack so I just put them away. I might pick up a plume veil and give it a go again. But I just need to know if vaping at .20 ohms will be safe with these efest batteries on the sigelei and if so, at what watts? That's my biggest fear so far.

You'll be fine .2 I run a dual 22gauge crown coil build in my tobh @.15 on my Sigelei 150 @135 watts and 24 gauge same build on my 100 watt plus @ 85 watts great clouds outstanding flavor

Also it isn't always the coil but how you wick your build that makes a difference and airflow is key you want to leave an area under the coil for air to get there if you pack under it completely it will affect your vapor production

Hi new to vaping as well have some friends that are big vapers they use either kranger sub with occ or aspire atlantis if your not into building your own coils hope this helps

I don't know about the little boy RDA but from my understanding the Doge RDA is used for cloud chasing as well as more airflow helps with vapor production. +1 on wicking as well.

So far my favorite cloud build for a box mod has been dual twisted 28g at 13 wraps on a 1/16th screwdriver, comes to around .5 depending on leg length and how tight the wire is twisted. I like to rock it around 90-120 watts.

As FoggyRoomZ said, you need to feed your coil with more juice to produce more vapor. In addition to that, the more you load the coil the more you need high airflow to produce vapor and keep the vapor stream cool.

I'm sure someone on this thread can steer you into the right atomizer or a method to balance all that out in your present atomizer.

As I understand it, the main question here is how to increase warmth using 26g wire, yes? You can try building quad coils, but I loved the warmth I got from parallels. I never knew that a warm vape was so nice until I tried that. And yes, at 0.2 ohm resistance your 100 watt plus should definitely be okay, using 35 amp batteries.
The only problem for me is that the increased wattage sucks up juice super fast. As much as I like the heat, I can't afford to go through juice that quickly. That said, I keep one RDA built with parallel coils and only take a toot from it once in a while. It's so satisfying and flavorful.

Crown coils are the jammy best of both worlds vapor and flavor and yes it can become hot if you chain vape it but 135 watts is extremely warm slightly hot 150 watts is HOT!

I built a twin coil tug boat mod with 22ga 6 wraps on a 7/64" drill bit. Came out to .4ohm and the hits are warm and ridiculous clouds.

I use 28ga Kanthal, 8 wraps on a 3mm coil form, on my Kayfun and it heats in a second or less at 4.2v and that's only about 8 watts. 28ga isn't really heavy at all. 13 wraps in dual twisted form at the wattage discussed here would be pretty quick to sizzle.

I have a Little Boy. I've found the best thing to keep in mind with it is that the airflow holes are kind of low, so you have to build your coils a little lower to compensate/line them up properly with the holes.

I rock a .6 ohm build usually, vaping at 6V or so, and it's pretty far from a "hot" vape. There's some ramp-up time, but I kind of prefer it. It allows me to really take a huge 4-7 second drag without burning my cotton. I used to go with .3 ohm builds and stuff, back when I was on a mech mod, but since switching to a VV/VW box (I have an OKL-T20 box) there's no reason. The best coils for a box mod have as MUCH surface area as possible, because you can just ramp up the voltage/wattage to compensate for any heat-up time.

Lastly, you might want to check on those batteries. I'm not 100%, but I don't think 35A Efests exist.
