not sure what caused it, thinking it was the atty...i am a newb to mods and GGTS so it may have been user error, for the i7...i6 on other hand was DOA, the batteries that were in the GGTS during the short seem to be working fine on this cartomizer i rummaged up that a friend left here (really old though so vapor is nasty). Whatever though it is my stupid mistake of not ordering more attys in the first place:-x8-o:rolleyes::p;):)

We all need to try them out before we order large quantities. It can really put you at a disadvantage with there isn't a supplier close to you though. :)

I will tell you a secret friend. All buttons on mods have the same problem. Almost all mods have a button from stores. Only me and 1-2 other mods have a mechanical button that was my idea of course. But you know me friend!! I am making a new button that will never die from short cirquits:D:D:D:D

ps........ it will be an upgrade to GGTS button

I made the following instruction which might be useful for anyone who needs to open up their button to replace the spring. The slim button works on the same principle also.

I must say though, Skydawgg, I am VERY surprised to hear you say that you had two DOA atties from Rob because I know he checks every single one of them before they get posted to customers (as I also do) and a fault developing in the mail system has got to be unlikely hasn't it? Specially on two at once dont you think?

thank you lisa, well i just tried something and i think the real problem was with the 3.0v cr123a batteries i have, trying them now on this old cartomizer with the 2 3.0v cr123a's that i fully charged, one vape two vape...dead!??! next set(i have 2 pairs)...1 vape 2 vape 3VAPE...dead...put em back on charger they charge to "full" in a couple mins....repeat same thing over...faulty batteries? but this still does not explain the i7 dying as those batteries are still good and run smoothly with the cartomizer(at 3.7v not 7v hehe).

hmm, could well be the batteries, do they have any damage to their shrink wrap at all?
Do you have a multimeter to test them to see what's going on with them?
Lastly, how do you insert the batteries? I mean, do you insert them after you put the end cap on (the one with the spring on) and with the negative side facing the cap? Do you attach the atomiser before or after screwing the TS down to make contact?
