So I just got my hana modz dna 40 delivered and I am loving the new vape. I used the ni200 wire that came with it and wrapped a .27 ohms coil on the zenith and when I put it on it went straight to temp mode and didn't go off till I put another atomizer with Kanthal. I put the ni200 atomizer back on and couldn't get the temp mode to turn back on. I tried taking out the batt and tried taking it back off and on and it said new coil up same coil down. I push up and still no temp mode. It went to temp mode after a bit of vaping but went back without me doing anything. Am I doing something wrong? Is my atomizer not working right? It was so awesome in temp mode I want it back! Any help would be appreciated.

If you switch atomizers, watch the display closely the first time you fire it. It should ask if is a new atomizer and you have a few seconds to say yes or no.

If you say yes, you are telling the DNA 40 to check what type of atty it is.

If you say no, you are telling the DNA 40 you put the same atty back on.

Can't say for sure what happens if you don't answer. It may take a few fires to figure things out.

I went from mech to regulated and the only other regulated I used before was a Provari about two years ago. It's a world of difference then I was use to. Now that I've used the temp mode for a day now I'm loving it. I haven't gone up to 40 watts but just the temp mode alone wins me over. The ni200 takes a little getting use to but I love it as much as the Kanthal. Battery life for me vs my mech is a lot longer. I'm not a chain vaper but I use it a lot and I've had it go down a quarter in batt life in one day. My mech would be losing power by the time I got home from work from replacing it before I left. I'm gonna run a Kanthal coil tomorrow and see how it is without temp mode and see how the batt lasts. So if to you have the money for this I would do it. But I this is my first dna mod so I can't tell ya if it's a diff from the dna 30 mods. I'm gonna give my more full review after a week of use if ya wanna stay tuned.

How do you say yes by pushing the up wattage button? Cuz it changes the wattage at the same time so I wasn't sure if I did anything.
