I screwed up! I know who makes a great bottom feeder (reosmods)! I know who has awesome customer service (reosmods)! My eyes bulged when I saw this other modder with a dna 20 bottom feeder, I wanted one so bad, I have wanted a bottom feeding darwin for over a year and a half. I was willing to pay the high dollar. I ordered and I have been lied to so many times that it makes me want to scream. I don't want to support a liar, and I won't.

Rob please please please come out with a bottom feeding dna 20 or something with the evolv chip! I beg! I want one so bad it is killing me! Please!!! Pretty Please!! With sugar on top!!! :D

I don't know, so I'm just asking....but would that be very, VERY much better than a variable voltage REO? I can't imagine that it would.....maybe just a few more bells and whistles. I have a VV Grand with a rebuildable atty on top, and I can't even IMAGINE a better vape. And if there IS a better vape, I can live without it because I am completely satisfied (and then some) with what I'm getting now.

Sorry you're so frustrated.

Rob usually leans more towards mechanical and reliable. I have no idea if he'll come out with something like you're wanting, but I personally wouldn't hold my breath. :)

I wanted the same thing, so I built it. I used an aluminum project box, 18650, DNA 12 (20 wasn't released yet), DNA micro-USB charger, and an A7.

The VW option is beneficial for coil builders due to the fact I can buold a coil with 4,5,6,7 wraps of 28,30,32ga wire, and the vape heat is the same. Different coils/wraps perform differently, flavor-wise, but overall, I set it and forget it.

My next one will be using the ZMax controller. On just want one button.

I am sure down the road I will be going to a single battery vw mod . I still have plenty of vv units it would be foolish for me to make another mod at this point .

JC Okie spelled it out vv vw once you dial it in there is no difference same vape . I use my vv grands every day I no how many coils to rap a certain ohm coil if its to hot I dial it down a notch not hot enough I bump it up a little . DO we really need the chip to adjust the setting for us ? As soon as my stock of vv mods gets depleted I will tackle this project. I have lots of customers who have asked me to do it . Did I mention I love mechanical mods

I am stoked, just to hear that you will tackle it eventually!! I am excited as can be! Granted yes you can dial in your vape by your builds and I love building my own coils, just sometimes I like to adjust it.

I will seriously have to look at the vv grands. though if you use a chip by evolv in one of your mods with a single battery, sign me up, cause I am ready to pay!

Freckle, the VV grand is a bad ... mod. There is something awesome about understated power and capabilities - a "sleeper" if you will. Kinda like the Buick grand national. To the unknowing, it just looked like a black regal with different wheels.

The VVG is kinda like that, no readouts - looks just like a grand to the unknowing, but with some major capabilities under the hood.

The batteries are 700mAh and I get 5-6 hours out of mine....depending on what I'm doing. I usually have a couple of REOs going at the same time with different juices, so I don't know exactly how long one would last just using it exclusively. I carry one spare set with me in a little keyring case, and I'm good.

I vape from my VVG (on a very low setting) on and off throughout the day and night while i am around the house. Sometimes I have had the same batteries in for several days. I have never depleted the batteries or even dropped below 3.7v. I would say that 3-4 ml is about my average between battery changes.

Look how beast it looks with a RM2 on it.

Well yesterday I ordered the reo mini 2.1 silver vein, today I decided to order the reo mini blue/blue. Hubs has been eyeing my reo grand, he says he likes that. I of course gave him the evil stink eye, lol.

I just ordered 2 mods for what I was willing to pay that other modder to make that dna 20 bottom feeder. I don't like the idea of stacking batteries, not because of the safety issues so much, but because I am an idiot. You just have to know me, I can see me somehow some way screwing that up, so there is my contribution to depleting the current stock. I will happily wait for the reo dna 20 mod!!! Super Stoked!

The advantage of the DNA chip is that if you are outside the 20 Watts it's rated for than it defaults to a mechanical mode.
The DNA has no limiter, just the VV part of it stops functioning. So with the DNA20 you get the advantage of using as VV or mechanical.

If Rob had been producing a DNA20d Unit I would have bought it.

Freckle, anyone with enough sense to use a REO cannot be that big of an idiot. :)

Come to think of it, I have seem maybe two or three posts from people with REOs (non regulars) over the last 6 months that made me think "that person must be an idiot"

And then there's nearly all of Jacks posts :)

Congrats on your purchase(s). You'll be back for more (unless you really are an idiot :) :))

RBA's have pretty much made my VV/VW devices obsolete. To me they seem more limiting than convenient.

Its actually the other way around. VV/VW wasn't needed when you could buy 10 attys that were the same ohm.

I find the VV nice for RBA's because no matter how many wraps if its off .2 or .4 or whatever I can still get the same vape.
