I enjoy the www dot thetruckersreport dot com /truckingindustryforum/ style. I particularly like the "Thanks" function that allows you to thank a poster for a good post. It keeps track of all of your thanks given and received. It's a really good way to build credibility for a poster that's credible and also a great way to easily bookmark others' posts for future reference.

As far as I know, ya'll use the same format/software.

Chrome is the faster, but simpler. Firefox is all-round the best browser, and has the advantage of a huge add-on toolset for power users.

Sware Iron is Google Chrome with all their spyware removed. Fast and clean.

K-meleon is a stripped-down version of Firefox, built for speed.

Internet Exploder is a rogue browser, not standards-compliant, poorly maintained and patched, and in the past was the single largest cause of the spread of malware via the Internet as it was so vulnerable to exploits. Perhaps it's better now. Possibly the worst browser in existence, although AOL's offering is right up there.

Thanks Mage, I've added a couple more from that list. I only really want to do abbreviations, and not descriptions of full words like "analog" or "pull".

Make sure ECF is in your allowed cookies list.

You need more than 10 characters in your posts. Quotes don't count.

Just to recap: You must write 10 characters for a post to be accepted

These characters must be outside the quote tags - otherwise they are not counted.

Make sure that your browser allows cookies from ECF.

Make sure that when you log in you select the "keep me signed in" check box.

That should be it. If you still have problems you might want to try another browser.
