They are 510 threaded. I will look at those cartos to see how much they are. I think that the VG is probably the way I will go for money reasons. i think I can probably get by without the nic. Gum is expensive too. Heck, if I can get off the nic, I would be more than happy to vape without it.

Best of luck with it k9djf! I started at 18 mg nic over a year ago and have been zero nic now for a few months. I did it slowly in stages and found it pretty easy. It definitely can be done!

i think your best bet is going to buy buying a 5 pack of blu cartomizers and perhaps stretch them out if possible with the VG if you can find that as well. Im not saying that you wont be able to go a week without nicotine, but if youve never really allowed yourself to go into a full blown cold turkey withdrawal, your in for a surprise. Dont buy the disposable cigarettes whatever you do. The njoy kings particularly, they only last 2 hours TOPS. You'll need 3-4 for one day, which is around $24. Not cool. I def recommend the prefilled cartos. I just did the same thing man. I wish u lived a little further north I'd be able to help you personally. But def think about the cartos, and get the highest mg, and dillute them if you can. Good luck buddy.

Did you experience any withdrawal symptoms? How long did you stretch out the reduction process?

I do live in the sticks. It sucks to not drive out here. Everything is so far away. I have to plan things out a week ahead of time if I need to go more than 5 miles away. I have made the mistake of buying njoy disposables. They were $7.99 a piece. What made me mad was that the battery died (about 2 hours) long before the ejuice was used up. I will see if I can find 510 cartos and buy $15 worth. If not, I am going to have to take my chances with the VG. Thanks for the advise.

If you plan ahead you may want to consider in the future ordering from 2777 Electronic Cigarettes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Extremely inexpensive and great service with free shipping. If ordering from FT first get feedback on your order. I don't know if it's against the rules but I could mail you some unflavored juice free of charge.

I DIY and I use the store brand glycerine exclusively for over 2 years now. LorAnn flavors are sold at Hobby Lobby and some Walmart stores. I thin mine (if needed) with a few drops of vodka. You could also check out the PIF area here on ECF. It wouldn't be a quick fix, but may come in handy in the future. Pay It Forward - PIF
Good luck and welcome to ECF.

Thanks for the kind offer but I will look into the site. I am pretty good about planning ahead. It comes with the territory. I like the DIY concept so I will order some supplies and give it a shot. This issue I am having is because I lost my kit. I usually have plenty of supplied on hand.

Your call and it's all good  I began DIY one month after starting to vape...it's very easy and extremely inexpensive. In regards to Flavorless Nic Juice signup for the mailing lists of Wizard Labs, RTSVapes and Ecig Express, etc as they sometimes have 30% off sales and rather than searching for sales you would be notified immediately.
Best of Luck.

I did it over about 10 months. I am sure I could have gone faster, but I was not motivated enough to try too hard. I was mostly really happy I was just not smoking! I started at 18 mg, then bought 12 and mixed the two for 15, then used 12 alone, etc. I did feel slight withdrawal symptoms for the first few reductions, but I just vaped more until that passed and then once I was sure I was stable again I reduced again. Once I got to 6 mg I went to 3 for a couple of weeks and then to zero. I felt no difference between 6 mg and zero.

For me, the biggest addiction was to smoking, not to nicotine. If I had been heavily addicted to nic the nic reduction process would have been much more painful than it was. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is really easy and 10 is really hard, quitting smoking by going cold turkey was a 10. Switching to vaping was a 4 and eliminating nic was a 1.5. The thing that bothered me the most was the loss of TH. But we humans are so adaptable, I got used to it in a few months and now I doubt I would even like it.

If you have a Wal-Mart nearby, they will have Fin ecigs and cartomizers that fit 510 batteries in the cig line, as well as VG in the medical/first aid section. Also, if you have disposables that the battery died, there may still be usable juice in the cartridge -- remove the endcap, put it in a ziplock bag, attach a string, and swing it in a circle about 10 times...the juice will be drained into the bottom of the ziplock and you can then snip the corner and drip it in another cart. I bet 2-3 dead disposables will yield enough juice to fill a cartridge.
