Wow that was close. I wonder who the unlucky person was that got 13666?

That was a Sad Story.

The member who had that Unlucky Number is No Longer with us. They suffered a Heart Attack on the Same day that their Wife left them and were Indicted on Embezzlement Charges.

... I just said 25,000 because I'm #24,106 so that would make me an old-timer.

Being an Old Timer around here I think is Pretty Cool.

In a way I feel like new members Missed Out on those Magical Years when e-Cigarette Hardware was Growing by Leaps and Bounds.

New Members today I think in some ways Expect things like a Clearo to Work. Because they weren't around when the First Clearo came out. And Didn't see all the Beta Testing and R&D that the "Old Timer's" here on the ECF did to Make them Work.

I think it is Also why New Members have Difficulties when a Clearo or Carto or Whatever doesn't work well for their given e-liquid or Wattage. Because they haven't seen the 101 Tips and Tricks that we have from reading Countless Threads.

I guess what I Remember most, and Miss the most, was the Early Days when Everything was New. And Great Ideas (and some Not So Great) were Flying Left and Right about Product Design. Or How to "mod" something by Cutting a Slot or Lifting a Seal to make a Atty/Carto/Clearo work as it Should.

I can only hope that's not true. Very good story though. You left out the part about the spontaneous combustion.

That was Never proven and could have happen because 13666 used the Wrong Battery in there Mech-Mod. So I didn't want to Mention it for Fear of people saying I was just Spreading Rumors.

;)

I am one..... Not fun growing up, but I'm definitely more centered than my siblings. Pun intended!
Being the oldest was no fun either. I was expected to set an example for the younger one (my sister). :(

I did set an example for her, but it wasn't the one that my parents wanted me set. Fortunately, she turned out ok. LOL

I remember when (dang near)everyone had the same year in their join date.

When you recognized just about every active member on the forum.

Its great to see that the last 5 years has been good to vaping, and so many others have been fortunate enough to share in all of our successes.

Well most of you would be more familiar to us if you all would come out of the Lounge area more. ;)

<hint, hint>

Unfortunately, so many of the old timers are gone. I have noticed that many members don't last a year in the forum, many of my old friends have moved on to other places. Even I am slowly drifting away from the ECF.

Heck, Robin, it's the Lounge that keeps me here. LOL

Need I remind you of the Moved On thread that *sigh* got locked. I was just starting to ..... Ahem....have fun.:pervy:

Has Lis been here? This thread is doomed, Robin.

Trust me, I don't need much encouragement to get started. ask EddardInWinter. I just know when and where I can let that little piece of my personality out into the wild. :sneaky:

Yep, Thats usually when I start circling a thread with a finger on the "Thread Lock" button. :p

I do hope your finger is not circling this thread. *pleading eyes*

I really do love reading about what is was like and I love seeing the (sorry guys) old timers reminisce and interact with each other. Gives me hope for our future.

Aha, well then you are welcome to join our thread busting team. Soon the mods will be closing threads, because ROBIN, Liscab and Jerry are there.
