I don't know how anybody got more than 30 minutes out of the 180mAh 510 batteries. I remember reading an hour to an hour and a half, but I was amazed if I ever had one last longer than 20 minutes. Then it took 1.5 hours to recharge. Had to carry 9 batteries and a PCC that plugged into my computer to get close to lasting a workday.

I'm very thankful those days are way behind me. I'll never take a 2000mAh IMR 18650 for granted. Those things have saved me so much grief...
I hear ya. I wound up with a PCC the size of a paperback that would charge four batts at a time.

I'm still using cartos, Tweety, I sometimes still experience those things. LOL. Maybe, one of these days, I should get a tank. :D

Ralph, replace the mouthpiece with a rotatable/rotating/knucklehead drip tip. I like things like the Vivi Nova except that the liquid condenses as you vape. When enough has pooled, it spits hot liquid in your mouth. The rotatable drip tip takes care of that. You turn the mouthpiece at any angle (even a tiny one) and the hot liquid doesn't seem to be able to get around the bend.

Speaking of drip tips, does anyone have any fixes for ones that are a tiny bit too small for the atomizer? I have a few that fall out with almost no provocation.

If I'm going more than a mile away (or will be gone for more than a couple of hours) I take one mod with a full tank, an extra 2000-3000mAh battery for the mod, a small bottle of the liquid and, just in case of equipment failure, an eGo and an old (but unused) Boge cartomizer. The carto takes up no room in my kit and I have about 10 that I never used. If my tank fails, I can fill it with the flavor of the day. It won't be ideal, but it will keep me going until I get home.

I keep finding the cartos around the house from when I cleaned out my purse. I know I don't need 2 on my nightstand but I leave them there anyway.

Poeia, you can also try dental floss. It didn't work at all for me, but welp, that actually doesn't surprise me. ;) Plumbers tape sounds better.

Where did you find something like that? Did you make it yourself?

If I'm going more than a mile away (or will be gone for more than a couple of hours) I take one mod with a full tank, an extra 2000-3000mAh battery for the mod, a small bottle of the liquid and, just in case of equipment failure, an eGo and an old (but unused) Boge cartomizer.

I keep a battery and a spare atty in my purse. With a carto, I would need to take time to prime it. With an atty, just drip and go! This I keep permanently in my purse, totally aside from whatever I take with me for the day.

I can remember when we vets were newbies we would ask questions and for the most part took the advice we were given or at least seriously considered it. Some today seem to ask questions just to ask questions.

Kids today. No respect for what we did for them.

I had forgotten all about Altavista.

And, we used MS-DOS, PC-DOS, and various other operating systems. And, some of us even had a try at writing our own. Oh, and the BBSs (in the olden days before the internet). 8-o

ETA: Back when 400 MB cost $400.
