I passed by him, and decided to go back and talk to him. Boy was he unfriendly!!! He has been vaping for over four years, and had to quit smoking because of heart surgery. I tried to get him and his wife to talk. She was totally rude, and said that she liked cigarettes, but he couldn't have them. He did tell me that he gets a bunch of dirty looks everywhere he goes. The were not the most handsome couple I have seen, but I was interested in having a short chat. Oh well, I bet the next one I see will be nicer.;)

I have been doing it in the stores and no one has seemed to notice. I don't do it right next to people, but I have been doing it and not really paying attention. I shocked myself today when I saw the vapor come out and then I looked around. I am sure sooner or later someone will call me out on it, but ok...I am ready.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
I was at our Walmart a couple weeks ago vapi g outside in the courtyard a no smoking area. When security came out I thought I was busted. But they walked right thru my cloud and escorted the real smoker off the site. He pointed at me and I could hear security telling him what it was I had. Victory for us at least some know what I was doing and it was ok :)

I vape everywhere. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, in my office at work, grocery stores, car dealers, restaurants, Hooters, etc. I make it a point not to make a big deal out of it. If I'm at a restaurant in a booth or at a bar I blow the vape out of my nose down towards my lap so folks don't see clouds of vapor swirling around my head. I've only been approached twice. Once up at a restaurant up in the lakes region of NH. Waitress: "Sir we don't allow smoking in here". Me: " I'm not smoking. This is a personal vaporizer". Waitress: "Well that explains why I can't smell anything. Enjoy your meal". The other time was at a Hooters out in Western Mass with my wife. A sweet young waitress came up to our table because she noticed I was vaping while enjoying a very large ice cold brew. She proceeded to tell us about the blu cig she bought a few weeks earlier and how much she loved vaping.
It's all good. If someone objects or wants to argue the point I'll put my PV away. Other than that, I vape at will.

Wow, I have yet to see any public vapers whatsoever, even at Walmart (and I thought I'd seen everything @ Walmart!)

Sorry to hear they weren't more friendly to you - I'd think we vapers would do well to stick together. Here's hoping you meet a vaper of the personable variety very soon ;)[/QUOTEhnyb0210
I just wanted to say hello from another Pennsylvanian. I have vaped in my local Walmart, but I haven't seen anyone else either. I did get to talk to two nice ladies just outside as I was vaping and they were smoking, and they asked me about my ecig. I showed them how it works and gave them some business cards from a vendor that I was carrying. I agree we vapers would do well to stick together.

I imagine two slightly malformed trolls, one vaping, while the one that looks slightly female screams "AH LIKE CIGURETTES!!!"

My Walmart is just full of the downbeaten working poor slowly shuffling around. But I can go to the one that's not as convenient to my house if I want to see misbehaving children and overweight men who cut the sleeves off their t-shirts. A real WIC coupon n' 12 pack Walmart.

I always vape in my car. And actually, I don't take the PV out of my mouth. I rest my right arm on my armrest and hold my PV in my mouth and vape away. I got out of my car, and was walking into Kmart, PV in hand (its like second nature to hold the thing, I completely forgot to put it in my purse). I was walking through the aisles, vaping and looking at crap, and FINALLY realized that I was still holding it. I put it in my purse and continued with my shopping. I was actually embarrassed and had to remind myself that it's perfectly fine. I am so uncomfortable vaping in public, actually, I don't really like anyone watching me at all. Even at home...

Same here Alguano.. I don't want to deal with people.

Funny thing is though I do things to embarrass my wife at the store. We could be looking at food and I'll exclaim "Oh no that'll give me gas something awful" or my favorite is to say "we need to get the chorizo!" in a loud voice. Chorizo is sausage in spanish. My wife is Mexican and I thibk she regrets teaching me that word.
