This place is great don't get me wrong. Just rough on the wallet with all the juice and equipment suggestions. I think I have finally found my juice and set up I like after spending close to 300$ bucks. Is it just me or does everyone go a bit overboard when they first start vaping. I am 25 days in and have zero cravings for an analog. To be honest I would spend whatever it took to help me finally kick that nasty habit. I just hope I can curb my vape spending soon.

Just think about how much you're saving! I've started putting mine on a spreadsheet...I'm not allowed to shop for a couple of months now :-( - like that's ever gonna happen! As others have said though, the cost of experimenting is well worth it once you get your ideal set up though!x

I came to realize vaping is much more expensive than smoking for me. My cigs were $39.00 a carton, however, I only purchased a carton a month as I mainly smoked Buglar which is $25.00 a can. A can would last me well over a month.

That being said I was visiting my friends Dad in the hospital today, he is dying of COPD. Kind of put everything in perspective for me.

Good luck on quitting.

I live in NY where cigarettes are $12 per pack. I smoked a pack a day (more if I was out drinking with friends or having a particularly stressful day). Even if vaping cost me $100 per month I'd be far, far ahead of the game!

Same here; NYC must be about the most expensive in the country???
But yeah, definitely saving dough compared to smoking.

like everyone else has stated the money spent on vaping is its adverse side effect. In the end though a life saved is worth a lot more than you can spend on vaping. However just some word of advise if your trying to save money dont ever look at/get into genesis style hybrid apv's hell the sidewinder alone cost almost what you have spent so far, I'd say your doing pretty well so far.

I, unfortunately, enjoy getting new things. I've tried so many different atomizers, clearomizers, tanks, batteries, juices.... But, I am happy and healthy. Currently, I spend about $40 a month on what I need. I plan on sampling some DIY juice, see if I like it. I did DIY when I first started, but I got lazy with it.. lol. I grew tired of stumbling around the forum and seeing everyone suggest the Provari, I am thinking about picking up one with my tax return. Then I'll have 3 PV's... Now I just need to find a clearo I really love. I was going to go into the rebuildables, but I'm not that mechanically inclined.

Don't feel bad, I spent double that last month in 3 pv's and some supplies. But I did only have 1 pv before that was dying, so now I have 3 and a 4th(the dying one) if everything goes to hell at once.

Got a Vamo for out and about, EA mod(mech) that should be here this week, and a SD keyring for stealth.

Consider it start-up costs, then when you have what you need, get the budgeting thing happening.

I smoked a pack and a half a day for 10 years. When I started they were around $4.00 a pack here in FL, towards the end of my smoking days they were about $6.00. That's almost $17,000. That's a new car... I spent about $160 a month in cigarettes - sometimes more. About 8 months ago I bought an ego starter kit for about 80$ and spent about 20$ a month in liquid. I just now bought my first APV (Sigelei Z-max) and a slough of new liquids. I splurged a bit, but I deserved to! The $300 I just spent is an anthill compared to what I used to spend every week on cigarettes.

I guess what I'm saying is don't let the big picture get too far out of sight. You're saving your money, your life and your well being - it's okay to splurge a little :)

Add a zero to that and you got my monthly expences, I really need to slow down my purchses. I blame this forum! lol. But I am happy and enjoying my new stuff every week, and as soon I see a new shiny stuff come I buy it! (still havent pulled the plug to buy a provari!).

Oh shiny...
