And I thought I liked it, so after dinner I had another. And then I pulled out my 510 and had some of that while my friend was smoking...which made her think that I wanted another. I didn't, and I can't scrape the taste off of my tongue fast enough.

I don't think I can even smoke an analog anymore. That's a good thing right? I've been analog free for 6 days until today, and this just proves to me I've switched over.

I went out last night, forgot to take another battery and battery died, I caved and had an analog, it was gross too, I figured I could just switch but I had major anxiety just trying to light the thing and huge fear that it would taste good! I am so glad it tasted so bad!!! I got home and chain vaped for 3 hours lol! We all cave I think at one point but I will never leave the house again without a spare battery I'll tell you! Sounds like you're on the right track, it seems to get easier every day, keep at it :)

Keep it up, and just take one smoke at a time, if you have an analog who cares? personally its been 40 days for me and I dont miss them but sometimes when my ecig is acting up and I cant get a good drag I still have a mini nic fit, I am hoping this goes away. I think with out my ecig I would make it about 30 minutes and give in and have one. I may try cutting back on ecig soon though, i am tired of being teathered to anything I will say this i hate smell of analogs now, go figure.

... as time goes by and your body becomes cleansed of the nasty chemicals it was used to, it just gets easier and easier...

Thats what I found, I still had a few smokes a day for my first 3 weeks vaping.

Now.. I prefer vaping over cigarettes so much that ill never go back

As a community we do not condemn folks who fall off the vaping wagon, regardless of reason. Every cigarette avoided, is a good cigarette. That being said....

It only takes one cigarette to re-start the clock on the chemically induced neuro re-transmitters found in cigarettes (the cocktail). That is why some folks have a greater difficulty in the beginning when mixing the two, and that is why the damn things are sooooo addictive. BT has ensured we remain hooked. However, vaping is a serious threat to their bottom line, and hence the current climat (ban), amongst other things.

Nicotine is only mildly addictive when compared to the rest of the chemicals. 8-10 days to cleanse nicotine from your system when compared to 10-12 weeks for the other known chemicals (MAOIs). How long do the remaining chemical continue to affect our bodies? Your guess is as good as mine.

I smoked 10-12 cigarettes in the last three months (so my signature lies). Six of them in one day three weeks ago when I decided to quit vaping -- it didn't work LOL. Last one two days ago -- forgot spare battery but it was one ciggarette in eight hours without vaping!

Real cigs are just not satisfying anymore. What can one do? ;)

How funny is this. My DH said to me after dinner, "that was smokey". I said WHAT? He replies you had more smoke than I'd seen. I should've had some vaping reply ready but really it was a fresh battery with some fresh juice.

I typically smoke my analogs outside. Did he think I was cheating?

I'm guessing it will take some time before he gets the switch?

To me it really isn't a big deal. I started vaping 6 months ago next week, and in that time I've had all of about 10 analogs. I have to admit, unlike others that have posted I still VERY much do enjoy analogs, but I can't ever see myself smoking 1/2 to 1 pack a day ever again. What I still can't stand is the smell in my clothes, car, etc. and how crappy I feel the next morning - even after having only 1 or 2 smokes. I figure if I can keep up my pack-a-year analog habit I'm much better off. I haven't logged on in quite some time here, but I know my "analogs avoided" is in the thousands now...

Every cigarette avoided is a good cigarette.

Although I have been smoke free for 7 months I can relate to <<Wrt how crappy I feel the next morning>>

During my sojourn in Mtl and TO this summer I was privileged to vape in my older sisters house. There was only one liquid where she didn't care for the smell so I avoided that one out of respect for her and the privilege extended. OTOH my younger sister and hubby still smoke. That was not a problem - they smoked I vaped. The next morning I woke up with what I call the fuzzies, feeling stuffy and with a mild headache. Hasn't happened since I quit and hasn't happened since. But the fuzzies were part of my morning ritual as a smoker.

My crutch as a vaper is research into the bad stuff in cigs, one might say I am quite .... about it, but it is my crutch, and AFAIC a personal crutch. The way I woke that particular morning only led to a greater reinforcement to remain smoke free.

There might be a lot we do not know about e cigs, but one thing I do firmly believe in now, they are definitely not as harmful as cigs. So don't knock yourself for having the odd one, but do try to avoid 'em if at all possible.
