There's no need to reset your counter, IMO. Having a couple of cigarettes after 89 days of being smoke-free doesn't mean you're a smoker again. It simply means you're a vaper who had a couple of cigarettes tonight. And yes, try to convert your gf to vaping! :)

PS.need to reset the counter :-x

Reset? Why? I've avoided thousands of cigarettes by vaping. in that time, I've smoked some. Maybe it isn't totally accurate, but I'm winning by a Longshot

I vape instead of smoking but I love my cigars. I have hundreds of dollars of cigars that I cherish. I smoke maybe 1 a month and savor our time together. I don't think that makes me a smoker so a cigarette for someone in need isn't a OMG situation. Before you smoked and before you vaped, you were a human being like the rest of us. No rules against that. :)

so what, seems to me you felt you needed a smoke, maybe consider increasing your nic a bit or I believe someone said some folks need WTA which I believe is whole tobacco alkaloids - I'd be curious to know what equipment you use what nic etc I didn't quit tobacco cold turkey the vape just weaned me down till I couldn't stand the taste of the hot little darlin's. my husband quit three years before I ever did - I didn't even intend to quit. I don't have a counter cause if I wanted a smoke I'd have one God knows I had a pad or better for 40 years I figure you will figure out what to do and why you want to do it and when you want to do it. I quit once many many years ago for five years and went back to 40 years of shameless smoking -choice is yours, when the timing is right you will do what you want to do - maybe you can ask your gf to join you or maybe change what you vape, I find if I vape lower nic for a day or so I think about a smoke, were you vaping less - just trying to suggest possibilities - best to you regardless of what you decide to do

Stop kicking yourself. & toss the counter....those things will drive you nuts. You know how long you've been vaping--that's all that matters.

I smoke every couple months when I get super drunk. When I wake up with a heavy chest, congested throat and my clothes and hair stinking it just reminds me why I quit, I wouldnt sweat it lol

If you would like some advice to get your GF to switch, ask yourself a couple of questions. Is she into pink? Lots of mods and tanks are catering toward female vapers with optional pink. The eGo One comes to mind in that respect. She can also "bling" it out if that's her style. Go on a vape shop hop. Many vape shops will give extra attention to find a juice she might like and a setup just because she is a virgin vaper. Treat it sorta like a date. A good point would be showing her how much money she could save and how she wouldn't smell like smoke plus the health advantages. Most women are very concerned about how they smell. Lastly, if it would really help you to quit smoking, be prepared to buy a good setup. $60 in a shop in not uncommon. Plus another 20 for juice. Talking with the shop guys will help make the "sale".

I had a smoke with my nephew on his wedding day May 2nd. It was kind of a bonding gesture.

I don't consider it a failure and it sure doesn't make me feel like I'm a nasty smoker again.

It felt rather foreign after 3 months and was not so enjoyable, but I kind of liked that I had that option at that time.

I've not yet gotten plastered since my transition to vapor. I imagine that's another episode waiting to happen. If so, I'm not sweating it. The day after, I'll brush and floss and get back to smelling nice.

I eat fried foods, slam mugs of caffeine, ride my bike without a brain bucket and run with scissors, too...
