After 4 months of vaping and without having one analog i finally made the mistake and had one. Felt so guilty after it though , does anyone ever have one occasionally ? i dont feel the need for buying a pack or anything and the taste was disgusting. This coming from a guy that was smoking for about 5 years, im 24. Work got very stressful so when offered one i accepted just to see what i would think of them after so long without. I still prefer vaping and the negatives of real cigarettes are still in my mind.I actually got light headed too, like when you first start smoking.

I wont have another.

I didn't after I got the PV that worked well, but many here have gone through your type of experience, and the nastiness usually is a factor of not trying again. Then there are some who have used vaping to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked - usually drastically - but have cigs on occasion. Some who have a need for some specific tobacco alkaloids in tobacco will supplement vaping with Swedish snus, without smoking cigarettes.

I've been vaping for 20 months now. I smoked for 37 years. I took about 2 weeks to quit smoking after I started vaping. I had 2 smokes in the three months after that. I really enjoyed them both and still enjoy the smell of a burning cigarette, but not enough to make me go back to killing myself. These days I can be around smokers and not have any desire to smoke, even when I'm stressed.

Don't sweat it videogamingtown. In your case it sounds like it actually reinforced your decision to quit like so many people here have experienced. IMO you will still need to be vigilant about not smoking, but don't beat yourself up about this one. Move on with the determination you got from this and let time pass. If this goes for you like it did for me, one day you will realize cigarettes have absolutely no pull on you any more :thumb:

Okay, you smoked. The fact that you didn't run out and buy a pack is a great thing. I still very occasionally smoke a good cigar. Had one yesterday with my son in law for Christmas. He quit cigarettes 2 years ago. I completely quit, again, in March. Second time for me with e cigs. First time I went for over a year. This time, forever.
