There. I said it.

Color me a geezer but damn it... they just taste good. Every hit is the same, no wasted juice, no tools - they're just simple. Closest thing to a real "smoke" to me. I'd forgotten those days.

Yeah, I have rba's-a-plenty, Drippers too. Many different tanks. Just cleaning out my vape shelf, taking an FDA doomsday inventory and I found about a hundred of them. :w00t: Don't mind me. Just paying tribute to what got me off the real thing. 99 more to go.

Carry on!

One thing I always meant to get, but never did, was a carto-tank. Always hated trying to refill cartos and I'm too cheap for disposable stuff.
Mine are all kaput and leak. I'm just vaping the cartos nekkid... with a purdy drip tip and a piece of tape over the hole.

And cheap is my thing to. Gotta use these buggers up!

I like mine too. Only alternative thing I tried was a G4 clearo back in June '11. Everytime I think I' d like something else, I take a vape and am convinced that I'm fine. Got a bunch for 17c apiece and am set for a while. PS-found a great way for priming, posted in my blog, if ya care to...

Anyone that says - I still like cartos - has been around the vape community for a bit...

I can't say I miss them and I know I vaped them down to the last one. They just weren't rebuildable and I would need how many thousands to have the proper stock supply that a rebuildable gives without taking up half the block...

I still have some mini Carto tanks that have the fill hole screw in the side and they are so cute! I may have to just fill one up and think about the good ole days :)
They're the ones I still use, lol. Grommet tanks from momnpop's shop. I'd really love to get my hands on a S&P tank someday tho.

The title of this thread caught my eye. I was taking inventory of my vape gear and found several boxes of ST and Boge cartos. Still have some Ikenvape too. Lucky for me I do still have a few carto tanks that I will be able to put to good use when the need arises. I knew that being a hoarder would come in handy one day.

I have not tried a carto in years. May have to fill one up and give it a shot soon just to see how it is :)

I've been getting back into submersible atomizers and using Sophias and cartomizer tanks again. I've dug up some old gear and made some nice purchases from the Classifieds. I'm currently using two GP SnP Tanks and a Cage Tank By Leo and loving it. I'm using these on a recently acquired GMZ Provari Mini and I feel like it's retro vaping for me. I may use a cartomizer with a KR-808D battery once or twice a year, but since I got in to RBAs about three years ago I haven't used a cartomizer in a tank.

Found a drawer full of old Ikenvape and Smoktech carto (pre-punched). Found about six IBTanked cartotanks, too. I haven't used a cartotank in over a year. Not since the last time I went to setup a new cartotank and I got five bad carto's in a row. They tasted burnt right from the start. And don't try to tell me I didn't prime the carto's right --- I wrote the book on setting up a cartotank. Baditude's Cartotank Setup Guide

I can't imagine going back to a cartotank now, however I remember fondly that they were my daily setup for nearly four years. :D

I have three mods using cartos. I just can't completely break the habit, I'm always buying cartos especially when I find them on sale. I must have over a hundred in my stash. Just ordered 15 more from Mad Vapes as they are on sale for $.59 a piece. It is nice knowing that if I have nothing else I have cartos. :)

Cartos are, for the impatient like me, a messy way of wasting juice and creating a flooded vape. I have some carts around but won't use them in a tank, I'll just drip them.

Very much agree. I think I still have pocket stains from those leaky .......s. It's kind of therapeutic just dripping a carto though. Drip, drip, wait. Drip drip, wait some more.

And like it was said up the line... they're getting tough to find. Too bad because those proprietary 3.5ohm cartos that are meant for cigalikes with puny batteries just don't cut it for a lot of folks trying to ditch the smokes. That was my experience until I found these anyway. And they were simple enough to use that kept me going.

    R.I.P.
