As someone who just typed a heartfelt email to one of the vendors involved, I agree with Iffy. It's counterproductive to debate in this thread. We know who we are & where we stand. Wow. I'm surprised by the strong reaction many of you have to Kevin's last show. Calling for a boycott of sponsors…wow, that's some strong stuff.

This is not a first for a program on the VP Live network. It's just that whenever it has happened in the past, it has been a result of something I have done on Click, Bang! - not something done on Kevin's show, VP Live Talk Radio, or any of the other programs on the VP Live Network.

Like I said, I think calling for a boycott is a very strong action…despite the fact that what was said on Kevin's show was, in my opinion, no big deal.

I think if you look back in this Thread Russ that you will see No Real Opposition for what happened on Kevin’s 2nd show up to and Including SJ Interview.

SJ came on, Kevin voiced his concerns, SJ spoke his piece, Kevin made Comments, SJ answered, Kevin Answered. Not Much to write home about. It was Civil and Professional by Kevin.

It was what Happened After SJ Interview that I Personally took Offense to. And what I believe Most People here on the ECF found Extremely Vulgar and Disturbing.

All Kevin had to do was leave the Issue of Moderation where it was when the recorded SJ Interview was over and None of the this would have happened. But Kevin Couldn’t. He had to stage that Call in to take a Cheap Shot at someone he Doesn’t Like.

It would be a True Shame if your Show was Effected by this. Because the Click Bang shows I have heard that you have Hosted I have liked for the Most Part.

An Example was your Segment last night About CASAA. Whereas I didn’t agree 100% with Everything that Any side had to say, it did bring up some Very Interesting points. Both Pro and Con. Another Example was what I considered to be Fair and Professional treatment you gave of the Entire RTS Debacle.

But if your Show is Effected by a Sponsor Pulling Out, was it the Members of the ECF Fault? Or was it Kevin’s for Stepping Way, Way over the Line?

BTW – I couldn’t agree with you more about ALL e-Cigarette users need to be More Involved in Local/State/Federal issues regarding e-Cigarette use. And like there are Many who are on the Capital Steps or are writing Letters/Email/Phone Calls, know that there are some who play perhaps Unseen Roles in areas like Health Studies or on Non-Grassroots levels.

I like to think that I Do Not give out Praise Unless it is Warranted. Or Criticism unless it is Justified.

I am writing the Sponsor's of VP Live to ask them what there Views are on Kevin's Verbal Abuse of another person using their Sponsor Monies.

I am also going to include a Note that I think Issues such as this can be Discussed in a More Professional Manor such as the way you addressed it Last Night on Your Show.

I came in this thread hoping for some good ol' mod bashing and about 3 or 4 pages in I realized it was gonna be nothing but some good ol' brown nosing, fair enough, fast forward to the end, VP live boycott and all that jazz....more brown nosing yadda yadda yadda...

My opinion of Classwife is- I wish she'd piss more people off so this thread could get some decent drama, not even asking for good shark tank drama, just decent drama, something mildly entertaining like old episodes of Cheers or something. Though I have rather enjoyed listening to Kevin rip Zoidman a new one on VP Live.

Thanks for that bit of information!

If by some coincidence I subsequently receive a VP business card included with an order, I'll now understand the impetus behind that action and as such, I will no longer have any desire to continue to do business with that vendor.
