To update this further (I thew away the first battery)... Today I had another battery go critical.. Which now makes me think the first DID NOT go critical inside the Saber... This second went critical in my pocket while at work. Was vacuuming and thought a bug was biting my leg... A milisecond of thought brought me to the conclusion that a bite was not what I was feeling.... I'M BEING BURNED!!!!!!! So I pulled the battery out of my pocket and instantly dropped it on the floor as it was HOT HOT HOT, and SMOKING... grabbed a towel and set it outside on some concrete. Oh and my cell phone got melted....

My conclusion is this: DO NOT Have multiple 18650's (or any battery) in your pocket with keys, change and your cell phone. This was by no means a problem with the Saber, simply user stupidity/error.

My thought process about putting multiple batteries, keys, change and a cell phone in my pocket: I'M A MAN! I ain't scared of no battery... lmfao! Yea, needless to say batteries will be kept outside of my pockets from now on.

:2c: Hope you all enjoyed the story! Glad I wasn't badly hurt being stupid, just got a little burn on my knee.

Riggsy- Back in the old days before BIC lighters, sometimes when you overfilled your ZIPPO, it would leak and leave a horrendous chemical burn on your thigh. One time it ran a little too far to the left and I won't say what got burned that time. Kinda puts you out of service for a few days...and is really...really uncomfortable!

Lmfao! Gladly I never had that experience, tho I was huge into zippo's durring my smoking carrier. I remember when Bics weren't childproof, they came out with em and I bought my first zippo. Tho after I fell in a campfire I was forced to use electronic Bics, lighting a normal lighter/zippo with no skin is not good = huge blood blisters. Ah the good ol' days.. Scratching out the ELE T in electronic on the side of the bic lighter....
