There is indeed a learning curve, just as there is for analogs. It took years to learn the art of smoking correctly, which cig was best for me, at which point when I started feeling that I had had too many analogs that I should take a break.

I love vaping and have no intention of quitting. I just killed my first atty yesterday (it was an original from April with lots of vaping on my 801) and have my 501 coming hopefully tomorrow. Other than the initial investment and trial and error, new attys, batteries, and juice are still cheaper than analogs.

At this point I think I am more addicted to vaping than I am nicotine, and I am addicted to this forum (finally found something more interesting than Facebook lol).

I too thank you all for such great comments and criticisms, this is truely a community.

I went from 2 1/2 packs of analogs a day to the e-cig it took a little time to adjust, I was so ready to give up smoking! but just couldn't its a learning experience, now I am very happy not to be chained to the analog, there are so many tips and help on the forum. I think IMO that some people are just not ready to put the analog down. I can go all day without a thought of smoking and even had my e-cig go down on me when I was out for a all day event, got through it no problem so I will always recommend and be so thankful to the e-cig " If you have opinion without learning you have wings with no feet "

Hey Jaross. I think I read somewhere on these forums that the 901, if I recall correctly, go through a cleaning phase that is triggered by the battery. I think they had tips and tricks somewhere about dealing with it, perhaps one of the members who have been around longer have a better idea what is going on. Did you ask about this in particular problem in the tips and tricks section? I am sure some users know what's up and can help you out.

I am sorry I can't help you out more, as I haven't even begun vaping yet. I am still awaiting an order from Innovapor, have a 510 and a PCC headed my way. Anyways, best of luck bud.

I cant stand this cleaning process anymore. and that cannot be good for you! I don't think I can continue vaping and I wil also say I am pretty convinced that breathing real analog cigs is not as bad for you as breathing burning plastic.

when your done with a smoke session disconnect your battery and atomizer, this stops the cleaning process in its tracks, ive never had my e cigs do a cleaning process this way and have had my atomizers last a long time with simple maintenance, I blow em out often and always set em batt side up

Jaross, maybe the second batt was dead too. Have you charged them per instructions. Maybe a bad charger?

Here's a post to look at also Jaross. Something to look for might cause a burnt taste.

yeah, I had charged it the day before for a good 6 hours. It wouldn't have turned on if it was dead, atleast the other one didn't turn on after it blinked 5 times...

My first 901 atty died two days after I got it when it went through its cleaning cycle. The company honored the warranty and I got a new one a few agonizing days later. They recommended disconnecting the battery when it starts its cleaning cycle (every 2000th puff). I ordered several more backups and have since had one die on me about once per month. I do clean them, but some people seem to have more luck. It's just part of the cost of vaping to replace these things once in a while.
