I personally would rather base my buying decisions on a thread that allows for responses. Quieting those who would ask for more information or disagree with the posters position will allow people to vent but are very one sided.
I read the post 420 is referring to and my honest and unbiased (I do not know him or the supplier he was having issues with) leaves me feeling that the supplier horribly failed to provide proper customer service. I would not buy from this supplier. Though emotional this post WAS helpful and clearly showed what can happen when things go wrong. Customer service is always easy when things go right!
What you are proposing is an interesting social experiment that I will enjoy watching, but seems to show very little purpose than allowing people to vent one side of an issue and leaves a big opening for trolls to bash unfairly. I would love to see 420 do a post with his experiences in the review section, where it is out of control of the supplier he has issues with.
taryn thanks for your input.
i agree with you on the point that it is onesided but everyone is on a side!ive just gotten so many pms in the last few hours of members new and old afraid to speak up because "its not worth it all the stick i get for posting"...members are drowned out so much by an overwhelming amount of posts and threads and responses that the messages dont get across. this is definitely not a perfect response to the issue but its a trial as you say and we will see what happens. it may very well turn sour if we allow it to but this site is full of good people and honest people who have real experiences that are not being dealt with...
we all have a mind of our own and will take what we want from any posts on this thread but it may become apparent over time that the posts are showing a pattern???who knows...we will have to wait and see...
