I think most of us started like that. After awhile you figure out why vape crappy tobacco try to be flavors when theres so much better out there. You cant tell new vapors any different. Some things you just have to learn on your own. I remember thinking youed have to be crazy to pay that much for a Provari! Genesis that looks dumb why would a person go threw all of that trouble when he can just screw on a cartomizer!

I no longer wish my vapes to taste like a cigarette. I got a hold of an electronic e-cigar that tasted so realistic it almost made me sick, like I had licked an ashtray.

However, I do enjoy my "gourmet" tobaccos, such as Boba's, HHV's Dragon's Fire/Shadow/Legend/Hunstman/Dark Horse, Halo's Torque56 and Turkish, and now, Roar's Poison. That's on the way, though... Only vaped it twice and I knew I'd love it, so I ordered some.

I always warn noobs who want an authentic cigarette experience that it is impossible to recreate the taste of burning combustion with electronics. The closest they'll get is what tobacco smells like before you burn it.

I smoked and vaped for about 2 weeks, and then the analogs just started tasting nastier and nastier, and finally I just tossed
them in the garbage and that was it. I don't want my vape to taste like a smoke - gross. Thinking about it, I didn't like the analog
as soon as I started vaping, but it was a stupid addiction and my mind telling me I needed it. But I'll stick with the 2 weeks.

I have not been vaping long. And I intend to use them to replace the habits that are so ingrained after forty plus years of smoking.
But in spite of all the insistent declarations by so many that seem to think that they know what I want and like far better then I do myself.

I love the taste of good tobacco. I loved it when I started smoking (or I would not have started). And I love it today.
I have even ordered whole leaf tobacco (flue cured brightleaf, and burley), run them through a paper shredder, and rolled my own. And THAT is seriously good tobacco.

If it were not for the negative health impact of smoking, I would gladly continue to do so. Though after vaping and tasting some of these other flavors, I would likely smoke just now and then.

Im on day 13 smoke free and I am really enjoying the coffee flavors, but that is because I can not find the right tasting tobacco flavor. Everything ive tried is to much like a cigar, way to sweet or way too spicey.]

Way to go man! 13 days is great progress, keep at it! There are some good tea flavors that have a light fruit after-taste, maybe some of those would work for you?

I remember thinking like this when I first started vaping. It took me about 2 weeks to realize that it was impossible. Now, the last thing I want is for my vape to taste like a disgusting marlb red.

How long did it take you guys for your taste to change and enjoy vaping for what it is an not solely as an alternative to smoking. When did you became a vaper instead of a smoker?

I'd like to say immediately, but it was really a couple days after getting my starter kit that I recognized vaping for vapings sake.

Regarding the thread title. I smoked for 42 years, most of them Marlboro 100's. Thought I liked the taste of tobacco, but the last cig I lit up (about 5 days into vaping) tasted bad. So did the tobacco flavored juices I tried at the vape shop.

I had no idea what to expect from vaping when I started. A co-worker of mine was already deep into the vaping scene and I was talking to him about and he basically told me that it's nothing like smoking and that I might not even like it.

Luckily, I instantly fell in love with Smokeless Image's RY4 so smoking was out the window as soon as I had my vaping stuff (Volt X2 and a Volt cig-a-like). I've found for myself that if it isn't a tobacco flavour then it can't be my all day vape. So I load up tobacco flavours in my Clearomizers and vape that all day but when I am at home I drip all the fruit flavours, candy flavours, and dessert flavours I can handle.

When I was a smoker, I occasionally enjoyed a fine cigar (and may again when football season starts). I used to horrify my cigar afficianado friends by immersing the front half in a glass of Capt. Morgan or Bacardi 8, letting it sit for a minute, then letting it almost dry before lighting it (cigar snobs hate dippers).

I still like that, and I've managed to get close to the aroma using a rum fired Virginia tobacco and Dekang's Cohiba juice.

I really like the Johnson Creek Domestic, and Dekang's Desert Ship. I bought a 20ml bottle of a Bourbon whiskey flavord juice that I am going to mix with these to create a Whiskey Dip flavor. I can't wait to vape it.

I like the flavor of tobacco. I like the aroma of a fine cigar. I don't like the harshness and burned throat from combustion, and the fact that I can get the flavor without the mess (and attendant damage to my respiratory system) means I'm never going back to analog cigarettes.

At least for the time being, I remain a "recovering smoker."

You might like this then http://www.nicotinenirvana.com/30ml_of_Tennessee_Tobacco_E_Liquid_USA_Made_p/30mltnntobej.htm. Has been my go to vape for about 2 years now. A bit whiskey and a bit cigar. I have found no flavor like it!

Guys, IF you like a REAL tasting Cigar with a touch of Pipe ...then you may like 'Silverthorn' by Johnson Creek.
Silverthorn Smoke Juice Johnson Creek Smoke Juice

I can't get enough of this juice. At the moment, I got it in a Kanger T2 (2.5 coil) and Joyetech 1000 XL Twist set at 4.1 volts... and it kicks like a horse!!
