any fellow ECF modders wanna help me get going in the mod world? i understand all basics in wiring, was gonna order a madvapes 5v kit to start it off but sold out. any recommendations? yes i understand this will be addicting, I NEED a hobby, and vaping is my world. I see radio shack is a popular supplier? any suggestions will be appreciated!

Might start out with a dual mod.... 14500's in a 3AA battery box are pretty simple.....

the radshack also has 4x2x1 project boxes and 2AA battery boxes which I used to build an 14500 evercool mod.. not too advanced if you follow BigBlue's instructions, and TI will ship you a chip as a "sample" for free.....

Other solution... look at the parts list and order parts separately. Unregulated 3.7 v (easiest), Regulated 5v (easier) or vv (bit harder) depending on comfort level.

Welcome to MadVapes LLC, RS or mouser or digikey

You can scrounge old/dead batteries for connectors, and RS for parts for the easy 3.7 volt nicostick if you want to avoid mail order. Another reason never to throw any parts out ;)
